I noticed that PS4 is still having a ton of new releases despite being almost 12 years since its original launch. So, I thought it was a good idea to make a thread just for the sake of having some sort of dedicated database for those curious about the kind of support the console is getting nowadays.
This is retail titles for now, I'll add the big amount of digital only titles later on.
Also, kinda regret making this thread just now, as PS4 has had waaaay more releases for the rest of 2025, especially by Japanese publishers. Things have slowed down in Q4 for some reason.

A new PS4 game was just announced while I was making the thread, which I will add with the rest of digital only titles. Kinda curious, as the vast majority of Entergram's releases ship on physical as well.

There is a lot of stuff coming to PS5 that I don't know if I'd be able to keep up, but I'd like to try it at some point.

Niche Japanese stuff has slowly been moving from PS4. Spike Chunsoft's last retail release (and second to last overall) on the console was Made in Abyss: Yami o Mezashita Rensei on September 1, 2022, while Kamaitachi no Yoru x3, a port of a 2006 PS2 game released on September 18, 2024, was its last digital release.
Compile Heart hasn't published any retail PS4 game since Madou Monogatari: Fia to Fushigi na Gakkou on November 28, 2024. Scar-Lead Salvation, Tokodero! Tatakae! Calamity Angels and Mahou Shisho Ariana ~ Nana Eiketsu no Sho ~ all had retail releases on PS5 this year, but were digital only on PS4.
For the past several years, virtually all of Nippon Ichi Software's output (bar a few exceptions here and there) has released on PS4, but that looks to change next year with its two 2026 games with confirmed release dates (Kyouran Makaism and Hono Gurashk no Niwa) both skipping the console. There's Project Curse coming next year on PS4, but until that actually materializes, Lens (released on August 28, 2025) will be its last release on the platform.
Oh, and it looks Nihon Falcom is done with the PS4 as Sora no Kiseki the 1st skipped it. If that's the case, Eiyuu Densetsu: Kai no Kiseki - Farewell, O Zemuria

I believe this is the first year Madden is current gen only, but NBA and Not Fifa are still PS4.
