I'm just wondering how many first party games Nintendo needs to release for this narrative to disappear.
Here is the first year of fully exclusive (no cross-gen) first party PS5 games:
Astro's Playroom
Demon's Souls
Returnal
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
That's it, and one of those is a (really good) tech demo you'll finish in a single sitting.
Here is the first year of fully exclusive (no cross-gen) Switch 2 games:
Mario Kart World
Donkey Kong Bananza
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment
Kirby Air Riders
Mario Tennis Fever
Yoshi and the Mysterious Book
Splatoon Raiders
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave
+ also a handful of Switch 2 exclusive expansion DLCs, if you want to include those or not it's up to you. I think the cross-gen factor is a much bigger consideration here too -- certain games like Pokemon Legends look and run considerably worse on Switch 1, while cross-gen PS4/5 games at the time didn't have nearly as dramatic of difference. Now let's consider that there will be even more coming and announced, this is by no means a comprehensive lineup -- how much is enough?
