PS5 Pro:
- Significant step up, moreso than other recent games
- Adds a Pro specific performance mode and option to uncap frame rate for VRR (not seen on other consoles)
- Pro specific mode uses 30fps Quality settings with PSSR and targets 60fps with VRR support
- Unlocking frame rate makes the regular Performance mode to run at 80, 100
- This renders the dedicated 120fps mode obsolete
- A rare case where the PS5 Pro is 'quite useful' ---> Maybe when someone actually uses its power instead of serving us the lazy edition ? Still blaming the PS5 Pro when it's the devs who can't be bothered to unlock the beast ? I'll just wait for the usual die-hard fans we all know here to have their little laugh, as always.
And we have several examples of games where the PS5 Pro had a good implementation of PSSR or good use of the extra power.
good implementation of pssr or better performance
- Space marine 2
 - Final fantasy 7 R
 - Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart:
 - Demon's Souls
 - Stellar Blade
 - The last of us part 2
 - The last of us part 1
 - The First Descendant
 - The Crew Motorfest
 - Ninja Gaiden 4
 - control
 - Ghost of Yōtei - pro ray traicing 60fps (ps5 30 fps ray traicning)

games that don't use PSSR, but have had a great improvement compared to PS5 (resolution or frame rate or setting the quality mode to 60 fps)
- horizon forbidden west
 - returnal
 - Fortnite
 - Forza horizon 5
 - AC Shadows (Pro gets RTGI in performance mode, PS5 doesn't have it in performance mode)
 - Dying Light: The Beast
 - Cronos
 - Wuchang
 - Death stranding 2
