actually got this on Kickstarter a couple months ago and it's finally here. took a little effort to put together but it is definitely better than my old Steelcase Leap V2, even thou that's also very comfortable.

I ordered a Retroid Pocket 6. I almost cancelled it to order an Odin 3, but the RP6 seems like the safer choice to have a lot of driver/community support. I have a Steam Deck that I could use for retro gaming, but I would prefer something a little smaller.

I've never owned an Android handheld retro system. Anyone have any tips or guides? I'm planning to work my way through the best NES/GB games, and the slowly move forward to more modern consoles as I finish or get bored.

Also I was completely surprised that I seem to enjoy extraction shooters. Played the Marathon beta and purchased Arc Raiders. I actually hate PVP quite a bit (prefer Firefight in Halo, PvE in Destiny), so I'm not sure how that worked out. But playing without a headset was pretty frustrating so I bought the Arctis Nova. I don't have anything to compare it with, and it seems OK, but I expected to be blown away a bit more for the price.

The last time I changed my blades I bought Grasscool and they were so much better than OEM John Deere blades. I bought a couple more sets just to make sure I had extra.

I'm always rolling the dice on mower blades, and so far the house been winning (and it ain't my house). I'll keep GrassCool in mind though, might need 'em sooner than I think if these new ones turn out to be untamed butt cheeks.

My mower is a Husqvarna YTH18542 and bruh… this thing been through war before I got it. Tires dry-rotted, wires chewed up, a whole snake settin' up Section 8 housing up in that mutha fucka. Previous owner didn't even want it, said it was overkill for his tiny lawn. Dude originally got it from a veteran homie who thought his kids would start a lawn business but they was glued to the PlayStation instead.

I'm honestly shocked I got it running. Engine wouldn't even crank. I just started taking stuff apart and oiling anything that looked like cotton mouth. Had no clue what I was doing to honest. Thing smelled like a small grease fire for a minute but hey, scent faded, mower lives? We up!

The feeling of bringing a machine back to life is amazing. I love to see things working and in motion. Hopefully you get some really good use out of it and it now that it lives again.

Prebuilt am5 rig, 8700g, 32gb, 2tb, 7800xt

Sounds solid. Ain't hardly anything out there with graphics worth paying to run at max settings in my opinion anyway. It's cool, but yeah the game is usually repetitive and thus unenjoyable anyways. All the great games with dope graphics is last gen my boi.

REENTRY on steam, been waiting a long time for something like this and by chance I saw it today, was released yesterday.

Is that a Sound Blaster X3? I got one not too long ago too, using it with a Sennheiser HD 560S. Really solid DAC, the only "flaw" is that you can't turn off the blue LED around the volume knob.
Yeah it is, i compared it to the x4 and 5, and i preferred the older one for what it offers, i'm really pleased with it, i got a new PC and ive always used Creative sound cards, but there isn't a lot of pci slots available due to the size of the GPU lol, great sound and option's, hooked my old Z5500 speakers to it and can use 6 channel direct, Dolby Digital and headphones easily for a 100 quid.

I am intrigued. Do you like it?
Yes but its very difficult to master, It appears in depth and authentic which I do like but how long would something like this take to learn? Guess im gonna find out. There is a roadmap where they discuss the future and I just want to support the developer for even attempting something like this.

Two days ago, I made the jump from the Galaxy S20 FE to the OnePlus 13, and wow, the improvement is insane. Yes, my S20 FE's battery was completely fried, lasting only 2-3 hours. But even beyond fixing that issue, the OnePlus 13 feels like a whole new world. I can't believe how much better this phone is

And 512gb? What

I just got the Namco DLC for Atari 50 and I am feeling feels for the 2600 version of pac man that I didn't know I had. I mean, it's a bad port. But it's also kinda burned into my being considering how much I played it back then.

After my last post; our water heater failed spectacularly. Switching to one of those new supposed "lifetime" non-rusting polybutane ones instead. We'll see how that goes. Doing some other plumbing upgrades while we're in there. Probably looking at about 5K all told... 💸

I guess we can't afford avocado toast every day just yet... 🥑

There's a story behind my most recent purchase, as it is over 30 years in the making.

In the early 90s when I was probably 7-9 years old I went to the local strip mall with my parents, which was pretty bustling back in the day lots of people there and that same strip mall now is a ghost town because of online shopping and such. Different times. But anyway we were going to different stores and I stopped at Kay Bee toys. They used to have these large bins with a bunch of different toys all piled in there. I don't remember if they were clearance bins or just where they put toys they didn't have room to hang on the walls, but they had a bunch of them. And even had some bins outside the store up against the wall in the summer... I guess stores were more trustworthy back then. I was digging through one of the bins and saw a figure of my favorite comic book character. I was like oooh I really want this. But my parents were calling me to go to the next store, so I put it back in the bin toward he bottom and piled a bunch of toys on top of it so it would stay hidden. I asked my parents if I could go back and get it on the way back to the car and they said yeah.

So about 20 minutes or so later after we went into another store, we were headed back toward Kay Bee again and I went in to get the figure and I couldn't find it. Then I was like damn did I misremember what bin it was in? So I dug through all the bins and I could not for the life of me find it. I thought at the time it would've been so unlikely that someone happened to dig through that same bin and buy that same figure during those 20 minutes we were in the other store. My parents gave me like 15 minutes to try and find it and eventually I just gave up and went home. They said next time we go back to Kay Bee, hopefully we'll find it and we'll get it for you. Over the years and months, whenever we went to Toys R Us or Kay Bee or Clover(remember Clover back in the day?) and any other store that had toys, I'd make a b line to the toy section and look for that figure and could never find it. I asked for it for Christmas and my birthday every year for multiple years and every year they told me they couldn't find that figure anywhere. I looked for it at every store I went to until I was like 14 or 15 and eventually gave up. I never saw that figure ever again. That one time where I pulled it out of that bin and held it for a few seconds before putting it in that bin was the only time I ever saw that figure in person. It was my white whale of toys.

Finally was able to get one all these years later. Closure, over 30 years in the making! The figure?
