Does Ubisoft hate it’s past catalog, why haven’t they brought these games forward?

If the goal is to create something like AC Ezio Trilogy, no thanks! I never saw a 'remaster' as lazy as this one!

And to be honest, our rose-clolored glasses betray us and now we can see some clear issues in, what we considered great games...

Because they demonstrably can't even do that right. Remember when they started putting out those "trilogies" of stuff like Splinter Cell on PS3? Terrible ports. And that was when Ubi still had a glimmer of hope.

Outside of Rocket Robot all of those things are available on UPlay Connect.

During sales you should be able to get every single one for $30-40 for all of them by abusing coupons.

They used to for PS3 for whatever reason. A nostalgia bait compilation of the OG prince of persia and splinter cell games would have been a slam dunk free money maker imo

Most of these games are on GOG, DRM free.

Sorry that I suppose that means they're PC exclusive now...

Rayman 2: Great Escape (all versions)
They already did it twice

Because Ubisoft is headed by a bunch of absolute retards.
This is the only answer that makes any sense to me.

Where has Splinter Cell been? Why has the company been ran like it has for so long? Why has the agenda in the games only gotten louder and stronger while the games themselves weaker? Lots of questions.

Origins and Valhalla got updated by Ubisoft to work with Win 11 24H2, but Odyssey hasn't, i tried it on my new PC and it's awful and i had to uninstall it, so the answer has to be yes!, Ubisoft must hate their games and gamers as well.

Their current creatives are a bunch of mediocre idiots who hate the legacy left by people better than them. The same reason why there can't be a new Tomb Raider or Uncharted game.

People need to buy games to get more games. Rayman Legends was a very good game that people didn't buy when it came out. The signal they probably got from that is "people must be over Rayman games and therefore, it's not worth the effort to port any Rayman games"

Where has Splinter Cell been?
This was announced a few days ago. Pretty sure Ubisoft knows they have one chance to get this right.

Those games all still hold up really well. Prince series especially looks great at high resolution and framerate. Put those devs to work on new titles.

most of them are backwards compatible on Xbox at least... so that's something I guess.

yes even both versions of Double Agent.

They're just a dumb company that had success with open-world, and shoehorned any franchise they could into that format copy-pasting systems across games.

They've become as boring as EA.

Yes..I am aware. I think bringing them to current consoles and PC is what I clearly mean. Available to purchase digitally other than the outdating ones on Xbox store or Windows versions in Steam.
Oh okay my bad.

Do you really want to play Rayman 2 ?

Ubisoft is primarily activists with some developers...

They physically dont have the capabilities to bring back these titles, like the literal required skills are not there.

I will always defend wildlands though, they nailed perfect drop-in drop-out coop play in an open world
