Resident Evil Requiem | 4K Path Tracing & NVIDIA DLSS 4 Trailer

You can even see some details are completely lost as they get covered by this increased brightness when using path tracing.
Don't go by any random YouTubers who manipulate even the thumbnail to make it look "shinier". Cranking HDR or the contrast up is like a cheap TV seller in a electronic store.

So hyped for this!

Where?

I am hesitant to preorder after Dragon's Dogshit and MHW but I know I will buy this anyway
ASUS currently has a promotion in Germany on various graphics cards and motherboards, where RE9 codes are included as a bonus. These codes are being sold on eBay by people who don't need the game.

I don't think there should be an issue here, RE engine was solid so far in previous RE games, just not really suited for the open world stuff as it turns out.

Though I only played DD2 and the game just released when I got my 4K OLED that year, so as my first 4K game I was surprised that it was still doing fine with DLSS performance outside the cities.

My only problem with this is having 2 characters sharing one scenario. It doesn't help that both characters play different. Imo they already fucked that one up.

Resident Evil company loves Resident Evil so I think it will be fine. They are confident enough to even put it on Switch 2 at launch.

Memati187 Memati187 Like I said I think it's going to be similar to RE6 in regards to 2 characters sharing the same scenario. And since Leon is the de facto main character it's very likely Grace Ashcroft will get completely overshadowed. And the "return" of Leon also lowkey means Ada will return as well. It's tradition.

So today I've decided to take a look at the Pragmata demo (though I don't plan to play it at launch, maybe later on after a sale), since this is the latest thing we have right now that is also running on RE engine. It runs very well. I think it is safe to say without the Path Tracing there should be no issues with these non open world new RE engine games.

Also glad they have started to use DLSS now, I wish they went back to update the REmakes too with official support, RE4 looks and runs great with the new DLSS 4.5 when you mod it.

Now not that I need to get even more excited for RE9, but damn I guess I'm starting to feel it... just a few more weeks.
