Damn! Rockstar has a hard decision to make, delay GTA6 to next year or risk getting embarrassed when they lose GOTY to Crimson Desserts
All the palm strikes, super punches, and wreslting moves are what i'm most excited for when it come to combatI'm all in for that monk-style shit on the first part of the gif. Looking cool.
It actually is mechanically deep, and if you check out some recent interviews about it, they actually had to tone down the complicated controls a bit from last summer's demo because mainly FGC-types like Maximillian were able to fully utilize them correctly, while other outlets considered it a negative.Combat may not be incredibly deep mechanically but looks visceral as hell.
I think that's a given.Combat looks fine, but what could really ruin this game is if it's repetitive. A map full of bloat, boring quests and stories. Let's hope it's not that.
I have been trying to play some RPGs like this lately and when you do it really highlights how visually inconsistent some game's open worlds and sightlines are. Just some of them though, not all.I think that's a given.
Rarely is a game worth your time when it comes to side quests (and even main quests for that matter). The game will probably be best played by not opening the map, just going wherever your eyes take you, and doing whatever's in the way. Once you get bored, you do 1-2 main missions. Rinse and repeat.

It's been to at least 5 different expo's with a playable demo in the past year, as well as internal testing in korea multiple times. Much more feedback than the average western triple AAA slop game gets. Just saying.Yeah, this could either be fucking awesome or complete shite. Seems like a game that should have had extensive public testing before release but you never know.
Cautiously optimistic. Will wait for impressions.
You and me both bud
When I say extensive I was thinking more along the lines of BG3, NRFTW or POE2 not a hands on 30 min demo. My thoughts on the game:
Positives:
- Graphics
- Particle effects has been substantially toned down and you can actually see what's going on
- Seemingly lots of things to do
Worries:
- Controls, if this sucks, then this will be the deciding factor for not getting the game
- World lore, plot, story and characters
- Huge world and lots of things to do, but is it fun to do them and are they meaningful or will they overstay their welcome and fatigue its players?
- Performance
- Bugs (UI can already been seen overlapping in the menu and this is a promotional video)
Negatives:
- MC and playable characters look and behave generic
- Art direction is not my personal cup of tea. Lighting somehow looks flat even though it's lush, as if there's not enough shadows
Even though this game looks good, it somehow feels a bit off in many ways.
As if it's suffering from an identity crisis.
Like what is the core focus of this game?
