New Epstein Emails: Elon Musk Repeatedly Asked To Visit Epstein Island

Totally normal behavior.

Democratic Representative Jerry Nadler referenced "concrete evidence of disgusting criminality revealed in the Epstein files" and asked Bondi point-blank, "How many of Epstein's co-conspirators have you indicted? How many perpetrators are you even investigating?"

Bondi tried to avoid the question, after which Nadler asked again how many of Epstein's co-conspirators Bondi had indicted. This angered Bondi, who started shouting over Nadler, saying, "I am going to answer the question the way I want to answer the question!"

Representative Jamie Raskin, the ranking Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, then tried to head off Bondi's attempts to drown out Nadler. Nadler pointed out that the number was zero, which Bondi didn't acknowledge. Then, Bondi brought up the performance of the Dow Jones and Nasdaq indexes.

"The DOW is over 50,000 dollars. I don't know why you're laughing," Bondi said angrily, as some members of the committee clearly saw through her attempt to distract. "You're a great stock trader, as I hear, Raskin.
"The S&P at almost 7,000, and the Nasdaq smashing records. Americans' 401(k)s and retirement savings are booming. That's what we should be talking about. We should be talking about making Americans safe," Bondi said, but then she was heckled. "What does the Dow have to do with anything, that's what they just asked? Are you kidding?"

Can you blame other countries (especially Europe and Canada) to distance themselves from US after all the shit trump pulled?

And USA was doing nothing about Epstein for more than 10 years. He got some laughable deal in 2008 and they allowed him to operate for many, many years...

How can anyone defend this shit at this point?

They are more worried about investigating Bad Bunny's Superbowl performance. That's where the problem lies. These files? Nah...everything okay.

It doesn't sound like he was doing that. From what I can tell you both have a disagreement on what the threshold is for your comfort level in regards to blowing up the world order for the sake of justice.
I literally never did that. Have a nice day I guess.
"How in the world would it be shooting our selves in the foot for going after pedo abusers?"

Well thats what that statement says. If its not what you meant then word it better.

Because I was not saying its shooting yourself in the foot to go after pedos...

Unless you think America is putting boots on the ground to get the Saudi prince?

Wasn't your implication that if we see this through to its conclusion that a lot of our institutions would be heavily damaged due to their associations with these crimes? And that because of our cultural moral differences we'd be intentionally shooting ourselves in the foot because other cultures don't give a shit about this and would emerge relatively unscathed?

They've had these files since 2008 and nothing was done by any prior administration. All these hearing are just to get soundbytes for their re-election campaign. They don't care one bit about the survivors or they would have done something long ago. Our political situation is bad and only going to get worse.

Why does the Chief Law Enforcement Officer for the federal government want to talk about the DOW and Nasdaq instead of, you know, crimes?

Her saying "We should be talking about making Americans safe" while trying to deflect away from evidence of the rich and powerful raping and torturing children is pure insanity.

a) I believe the files were sealed for at least part of that time and required a court order to unseal them. This has been previously reported.

b) Past mistakes do not excuse current mistakes. It's pure deflection, screaming "what about the previous guy?" and not making a legitimate argument.

By the way...there really should be a law preventing the AG from acting like either the president's personal lawyer or just a total partisan hack. This hearing has been a disgrace.

This administration is full of a bunch of sycophant ghouls.

Ironically Bondi is one of the only ones in the admin who actually has some qualifications for her job but she's an evil asshole like the rest of them.

How can anyone defend this shit lol. Talking about epstein rapes and then this rat face bitch starts talking about the DOW (which is just held up by 4-5 companies giving eachother money for AI bullshit).

Serious question, is JD Vance clear of this shit? If he is, can we just have Trump, Patel, Bondi, and anyone else covering this up, step down and have Vance take over and appoint new people? Those new people can then roll up their sleeves and get to work.

Why? Even if Vance is clear, he's part of the administration trying to cover it up. Which makes him just as guilty.

That hearing was utterly mind-bending. Bondi appeared kind of depressed after she accused someone of antisemitism and they shot back that family died in the holocaust before walking out of the room. It was like a glimpse of remorse in Bondi of the monster she's become.

Who knows, but Vance's willingness to flip flop on his positions in the name of political expedience as well as his big money connections to the privacy-eroding sectors of big tech make me not want to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Vance is Thiel protege, probably one of the creepier people on earth and an Epstein associate. If you really want Palantir-man running the country then sure I guess he hasn't been directly associated with Epstein.

Certainly, calling the granddaughter of a Holocaust victim "antisemitic" is absolutely mind bending.

I'm not a fan of Bondi, but the example given is an allegation of someone driving someone around who said something they alleged.

That's legally not evidence of a crime.

I think what Teddy is saying is that person was never followed up on, that person who made the allegation was not interviewed.

I find this line of thinking strange, the previous administration had literally all this information and hid all of it from the public too.

You should realise ALL the administrations and elite and powerful are trying to cover this up.

Yes, that is a separate issue though. His primary statement causing buzz is she lied under oath due to evidence of a crime. An allegation is legally a claim of wrongdoing without evidence (yet). So his statement isn't true in the legal sense.

So if it isn't Vance, Mike Johnson is next in line, and no thanks on that one. I am assuming the U.S. is literally fucked until 2029. The sad thing is who would even want that job and the next sad thing is there is no one worth a fuck for the job going by the candidates that will most likely be running.

I've surmized that she is one of those people who enters the justice system (legal profession, cop, prison guard, whatever) because she gets off on having power over other people and making them suffer.

So am I correct in reading that the people claiming to be Epstein's victims are suggesting they have been unable to meet with the DOJ who claim there is no evidence to charge anyone else in relation to the Epstein files? I mean, is this not a full blown coverup out in the open now?

One of the people straight up asked all the survivors present whether they had been contacted or met by the DoJ, they all said no.

Justice is not blind, it's performative, I guess.

That is the most horrible thing I probably have ever read. I must say that I did not understand that this case involved this level of sickness.
THIS reminds me so much of True detective scene with the tape video shown to Woody. The horrors on his face and the screams. :messenger_neutral:

It's obvious there's been a coverup and/or no attempt at justice for years-decades, the question is for how long exactly and by whom. Could be hundreds to thousands involved in a mass cover up.

Where to from here? It seems the current admin have caught the hot potato ... is new investigation launched or do they double down on çase closed'?

They should launch an investigation into the possibilities of a coverup and to whatever else that can be investigated that should've already been done prior.
Just note it would be our investigation/law departments internally investigating themselves most likely... Even an independent team would be ex-formers or people with the same connections. Can they? That's a different question and would people even believe in the investigation by the end?

Yes.
Anyone guilty of aiding and abetting need to be thrown in the trashcan. We deserve a better class of politician. Fuck the partisan nonsense.
