I'm so glad I grew up in a time without social media in my teenage years. We have our own vices, of course, but this whole dysmorphia thing is very concerning. Especially when SSRIs and hormone drugs start to get introduced.

It's funny how the 30-year-old boomer thing became a meme around 10 years ago, but it's now becoming quite literal, as early and core millennials are essentially boomers in terms of how we relate to how teens experience and navigate their social lives and dating now. There's just a massive generational disconnect between people who had any experience with dating pre-social media or even during early social media but before it and dating apps became 100% ingrained in culture.

Can't control your height, but you can get fit and wear better clothes and take care of yourself. To improve your sexual marketplace value.

To mog someone is zoomer slang for dominating them, especially in terms of attractiveness or physicality. To demonstrate that you're the alpha male of the group. Not by fighting though since zoomers are socially awkward dorks.
