The fomo for this is huge. Some calling it the greatest horror game to date. I get to play all morning/mid afternoon tomorrow. I'd be severely disappointed if something comes up.

Yep, but I can install it anytime I want to and play, even using solar generators in a nuclear apocalypse.
I'll get it on Switch down the line for 5-10 bucks double dip though.

Many people reported 2 of their 3 fans wouldn't spin with this driver installed. I couldn't even get EVGA Precision X1 to start when using the driver (I use it for fan control).

I must be honest, the save room is a bit uninspired. I dont understand why Capcom has downgraded so much their music in the last games

It has an alternate classic Racoon City audio pack, which will change a bit of the soundtrack, though don't know how much till I play (similar to RE2 remake). I bought RE2 back at launch on the 90s, still remember it vividly, and am very attached to the music. I still remember beating Tofu Survivor!

At least it has save room music. RE4 remake completely ditched the serenity theme, even with the original soundtrack enabled. Absolute cardinal sin. It was such an egregious omission that it knocked the remake down a peg for me.
What you posted above is definitely a more subtle approach than the melodic piano themes of the original games, but I don't mind it. Conveys the same feeling of classic RE save rooms.

It only has ink ribbon saving on hard mode during the Grace sequences, they confirmed this during the developer deep dive showcase.

That's the only option for ink ribbons, they confirmed Leon's gameplay doesn't have ink ribbon saving.

It's pretty rare that Nvidia drivers release before the game does these days, also you may want to read what people are saying about the driver before you update, they're becoming pretty infamous these days for it being 50/50 on if it breaks the game it's suppose to be improving in the first place.

SkillUp tested the game on a 4090 rig and said at 4K max settings with path tracing on he was getting an average of 100fps, I bet if you just simply set the resolution to 1440 you'll be fine.

It's a single scenario, characters swap on story points, not a RE2 A/B situation.

Still can do different scenarios of different things that can be altered a bit. Even if it's just altered enemy tendencies/attacks.

The only thing that alters is that the highest difficulty will have more enemies here and there, it's akin to RE3 Remake's Inferno difficulty.

Inferno mode also altered enemy types that lead to encountering some of the more difficult enemy types where they wouldn't normally be earlier in the game, not sure it they'll do that here though.
