Preload not necessary folks as the magicians over at Bungie made sure this is a tiny download size.

Acquiring a 4K HDR bluray rip of a movie from the high seas these days takes up more space than this game lol.

This and ARC raiders both are very small install sizes. I think ARC being just over 20gb. Then I look at Deus Ex (original) on PS5 and it's like 7gb.

The Rook class is exactly what I was looking for. That looks pretty awesome to switch up things fi you dont want to PvP.
 
On the fence about preordering... the server slam didnt really click with me but wondering if they can turn it around post launch. :/

have less than an hour to decide to get the bonus crap.

Nothing to turn around, if you gave the slam a fair crack and didn't like it then i'd probably wait until season 2, if at all.
 
We should probably tell eachother what Runners we're playing as so none of us accidentally kill a fellow NeoGAFian.

I'll be playing as Triage, Thief, Assassin, and Rook as well as Destroyer so please check with those Runners and make sure it's not me before you shoot. I would never want to kill anyone here.

Solo. I'm a masochist.

I plan to amass wealth, level up skills/factions, and do contracts.

My issue with trios is you potentially load in with 3 different quests and if yours is too far it'll never get done.

Duos though would be fine. Getting 2 things done before extracting is doable.

I'm also more of a ping and not use comms guy. It's for my teams best interest. I've only been perma banned from league of legends for calling someone a retard for throwing a match - granted I said a lot of toxic shit to feeding teammates. However, I'm in a win 90% of the time mentality. If my squad tries and we Do bad it is what it is, but if you do some whack shit like afk, don't play with the team, don't heal up, etc I will call you out.

Better I don't say anything at all. It's a me problem.

Yeah ive seen so much negativity around the UI TTK and other things i kinda wonder if that sort of stuff will get an adjustment ASAP to try and more appeal to the masses... i mean their existence really hangs on the commercial success of this game.

TTK is spot on, it won't change. The UI needs work for sure mainly around the mods but its not as bad as Arcs once you get used to it. Half my time in that game has been spent in the menus

yeah I honestly had 0 problems with the UI except for mods that could slot on either gun always went to the 1st/primary which was annoying

I imagine the big talk around this game will be the public event to unlock the space station. That's where I imagine the boss is either Durandal or a lackey showing he's behind all this.

The lore in this shit is too fucking good and Destiny really shows Bungie can go big dick on stuff like this.

Got it. I won't be doing random squad fill, just playing with friends and people on here. That way, questing can be a little more coordinated.
