It takes like 3 stabs to kill a runner normally. I wonder with perks/buffs whether you can one shot kill. I don't think knifing can be OP, even with a one shot

Not really sure what happened. I pushed a guy who had a smoke screen up during an exfil and it seemed like he instantly knifed me.

Got to 15, but the third map is still locked for a time period of either 11 hours or 11 days I can't tell.

A few thoughts after day one...
1. I am not missing shots. All praise be to Bungie for adding the greatest aim assist in FPS history. I am melting people at all kinds of distances. Won numerous 1 v 2s today.
2. Is the BR 33 Volley Rifle the best gun in the game? Curious if anyone found any other guns they thought were OP.
3. Loot comes a bit too easy for my taste. A lot of times your killing a kitted out team, getting faction rewards, and getting ranked rewards.
4. Bring on Outpost and Cryo!

My exfil strategy looks like it's going to be call in the beacon and run to find a hiding spot maybe 100 feet away or so. The enemy AI will come but won't find me there. If other players show up they can engage the AI. I time my run to the beacon just before it extracts. Even if the enemy AI put me down, I still get out with my loot so long as I am near the beacon. Probably my best chance of success as a solo player

These will eventually dry up though right, once we finish all the priority contracts and max rank? I will say I had to sell a bunch of stuff from my stash to clear the overflow from the server slam rewards packages. Kinda sucks I had to do that. Probably shouldn't have claimed them right away but I didn't think about it.

I have a priority stack of what I always sell first:
-Items that are for factions I have no use for yet.
-grey chips
-repeat crappy grey body pieces
Current issue I have is I can't take a gun past blue, can't get blue shields, can't get backpacks that hold more than the green do. Plus Oni can't level past 7 until tomorrow.
This gatekeeping shit is really fucking dumb. I thought once the tests were done I could grind but nope.

Very much enjoying my time with it so far. Been playing solos buy would like to find some people to run with on here.

I played it yesterday but what is this....
- menus are overwhelming
- i have no idea what the items are
- i have no idea what item/loot is good and need to pick it up
- how do you play with others? Is there no random squad up options?
Gameplay feels much slower than BF6 for example or even AR

Game is absolutely fucking incredible, I'm loving it.
I wish it had another large map but I'm sure they are in the works.
Also purchased the thief bundle but the weapon charm is in my inventory yet it shows as not purchased on the store so still a few bugs to sort.

I am already so done trying to help teammates after they KEEP dying. Ended on a huge loss streak yesterday. Had loot and good gear, the exfil right next to me but I had to go and be Mr Nice and try to save my downed mates.
Got the "get 7 exfils" achievement after like 6 hours yesterday.

On the ready up screen the is a crew fill option hit Y. The UI is a bit shit but that is like right in front of you before you infil

Just played my first match of the day. Lasted for about 2 minutes (not even joking). Guys don't have a mic, we get to North Relay, I get my much needed materials for bigger stash spaces. They die instantly, have no fucking clue to what because no mics, and then a team rolls up on my while I am looting solo. Off to a great start lol.
I really wish this game had a safe pocket because I literally have to sell everything I get now because there's no space. Can't claim any rewards either atm.

Dope. Well I played like I'm guessing something like 5 hours of the slam, so doing the tutorial was kinda refreshing especially knowing I would be able to keep whatever I managed to loot. But like y'all my vault is already full from the jump from slam rewards.
Finally managed to do my official run just now and exfilled whilst being extra cautious.
Can't wait to really get in some runs tonight after work.
After my previous post were I said purchasing a full runner pack from the store, the weapon charm doesn't show as purchased even though it's in your inventory.
Is this why? You only get a certain amount of charms and when all used you have to purchase more, surely not?

Yeah you can't put one charm on every weapon. Gotta pick and choose. But isn't it like that in Apex also? I forget.
The stickers I was slightly disappointed were limited quantity but that's really not a huge deal to me. It's forcing me to use stickers I probably wouldn't if they were unlimited, which is something I guess lol. They're not one time use so you can move them around once you get more, there will likely be enough to go around once we get more codex unlocks.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but when I played it yesterday, I almost never had any ammunition again. At the beginning of the round, I drop this support pack with ammunition. Which only seems to be available once? In the world itself, ammunition is somehow extremely rare, and when something drops, you immediately compete with the group for the scraps.
Out of 4-5 rounds yesterday, I had no ammunition at all in at least 3 of them and was just running around with a knife towards the end.

Ammo is a bit scarce yes just as a loot item but as far as I know the UESC drop ammo (or weapons) as well.
I usually find more than enough of those ammo crates you mentioned tho. I always just insta deploy them. No reason to have those clog up your backpack.

I still massively prefer Arc Raiders over Marathon, but then I'm mostly a PvE player. Marathon will probably be the better game for people who love PvP. It's good to have game choices!
