Nobody talks in this game, it's mostly shoot on sight which is unfortunate. Part of what made Arc more fun for me personally were the random interactions. Hope people can actually start talking more and potentially cooperating with objectives.

Heck no. I heard like 4 people talking to me after fight. 2 were mean and 2 said gg.
 
That BurntPeanut streamer wants to play the game and he gets shit from his followers when he does so, so he ended up playing it offline. lol

It has got to be amazing just goofing around playing games, but I can only imagine the frustration of playing games only your chat wants you to play. For a guy like Peanut, not listening to his audience would lose him 10's of thousands of dollars each session

Game jumped back to n2 after being 3rd seller today. The word of mouth will be good for this game once the haters move to their next target 💪

Kinda insane how high are the user reviews on all 3 platforms, i mean if you play the game its not that insane :)

I know all these companies have legal nonsense to worry about but proxy chat should always be on (not push to talk) unless you opt out. You should be able to hear your teammates at any distance and enemies once they're within 25 yards of you. You'd definitely get more of thise funny / tense social moments that way.

This is a pretty interesting concept that could potentially help a lot with on-boarding. Give new players a few super powerful kits to run, ala Super Metroid, so players understand why being lvl 1 feels underpowered.

To the two guys I just played with. Ya'll were chill as hell, but what happened to us was embarrassing as hell holy shit.

We had 6 elims (3 for me, 2 for another, and then 1) which was cool. We pushed a team quickly and then pushed another team extracting to get a couple more. Then we decided to camp the extract at Hauler. I went up on top of the building to do some recon as Thief only for another Thief to start stealing shit, grapple on my roof, we shoot at each other (I believe I got them pretty damn good), I go down, they finish me and then proceed to wipe the rest of my team by themselves.

If the two I played with somehow happen to be here. Lets play again. If the Thief that wiped us is here..

I did one during the server slam and yea the loot was pretty damn good. Plenty of lootables for the whole team, blues and purples. Definitely worthwhile doing that's for sure.
 
the lack of ammo in this game is stupid. Im sorry but if the NPCS are going to have like 10 come as backup, give me the ammo to do something

You can back off and hide. They will chill out. Only fight when you need to or you're actively trying to (like one of the mini alerts). If you're using a faction kit you get an ammo crate with it too.

Theres a faction upgrade that unlocks a key blueprint. You have to take it in round and extract with it to make it into a useable key for the next round.

Not tried it yet as real life is getting in the way.

Honestly this game is insane. So much depth and shit going on. I won't be playing anything else for the foreseeable.

The gaffers i ran with last night nailed it, it's like Bungie made a a game specifically for me. Seriously I kniw this is the honeymoon phase but if the end game is as good as the early game this might be their best game yet.

And yes that includes Halo CE. Its like every mistake they made in the past was a learning experience that led to this. It's seriously impressive, hope it doesn't go to shit once people get familiar with the game.

As the other guy said you can always back off and disengage. Also don't be afraid to just ask your teammates for help. Even if I get in a group with no communication I just ask and usually I'll get at least somebody dropping me something

Loaded in with a 5k kit with 2 randoms on free loadouts. They died and quit within a few minutes. I was so desperate to get out. Honestly not much happened but was one of the most nerve racking and best runs yet.

Also anyone complaining about the TTK. Purple shields negate that completely. Everyone will be running them in a week or two. If the base TTK was higher then you'd be invincible in the late game.

Yeah, I haven't used anything above green shields so far and even then you definitely last longer. It's not that instant melt you get with the base shield.

I just hope that in the next few weeks when players have those shields new players aren't put off. I love the game like I find myself thinking about playing it when I'm not playing it. I switched over to Battlefield 6 and played 1 match and was like I really need to try out that railgun I got so I just went back so I want the game to survive and grow and for that it needs new players so I just worry that new players will jump in and go up against people with purple shields, thermal snipers, or that OP DMR and be put off by it.

I think as time goes on the floor gets higher so there won't be any real need for higher level players to go to regular perimeter geared up. High risk with very little reward.
 
I'm still missing the two Twitch weapon skins and background drops.
Is this happening to anyone else? How do Bungie screw these things up?

Think they said they are sending them out over the weekend. I received mine a little while ago.

I received the stickers and emblems but not the backgrounds and weapon skins.
Also the deluxe edition melee knife skin doesn't work either. Edit: the knife skin resets to default after each match.
Quite frustrating.

Had an insane bunch of runs today with my duo bud. We don't fill third and run trios. Shit is nuts.

We had several games where we wipe 2-3 other teams.

This last one had us and two teams fighting in the hauler. My buddy is left so I tell him to run. He goes outside to hide. I have him wait until 5 minutes left. One guy is still in the hauler, and the other team is doing exfil by hauler.

He picks me up, we get objective, I loot whatever is left. We THINK all that's left is at the exfil spot and we initiate. A guy named Baba Yaga back doors us and downs my buddy and I down one of the other team. Pinched! Whip a 180 and down baba yaga-I get sick loot off his dumb ass. 1 minute left and we make it to final exfil!!!!

Baba yaga never had to deal with me, the boogie man.

GGs!!!!
 
What's everyones thoughts the best trios combo? I think a Triage with 2 vandals might be the ticket.
