Cool I buy it. I never usually by add on stuff. I think eldin ring expansion was the last.

I love Requiem, but RE has a hit and miss history with expansions. RE8 rose DLC was a snooze fest, but Separate Ways (while a remake, it was on par with the original), Not a Hero (from RE7) was good, unlike the rest of the RE7 DLC.
 
Thats cool and all but the game really needs a replayable extra mode

Edit: thats what I get for thinking OP included all pertinent information. Hope the minigame provides some much needed replayability.

Only good modern RE DLC has been Seperate Ways.

Say what you want about REmake 4. But it is pretty much universally agreed remake Seperate Ways is leagues better than the OG Seperate Ways.

Every other dlc has been shit.

Hunk is not some no name, being the franchise since original RE2...

I also hope is more Leon, but if they do something about Hunk, they can go and clarify the fan theories about not being the real one
 
I dont know what to think... RE9 is extremely contradictory in that regard... excelent characters and one of the worse stories i saw (seriously, EVERYTHING that happened in this game was because a misunderstanding and we also saw the worst videogame FBI agent in the story of... well, videogame FBI agents)
 
mini game = 4th survivoresque scenario where you bailout of a shitty situation as Hunk after taking a hatchet to the throat.

The fanbase always has weird baseless theories around HUNK. Remember back when they spent years thinking Chris at the end of RE7 was actually HUNK? Or when they did the same thing with Chris in Rev1? They'll cope in every manner they can for 20-30 years in the hopes of crumbs all because they liked his neck snap in OG RE4 mercs as 7 year olds. It's the weirdest thing.

In reality, HUNKs claim to fame is that he ran away from Birkin after his team got whipped and killed some low level zombies. He's the most no name character in the series. He's accomplished nothing but running/getting bodied by Leon, and we literally don't know his name lmao. He's just some evil Umbrella mercenary.

"Leon Kennedy! At last we meet! Our battle will be legendary!"

I really hope it's more Grace style gameplay. The base game was way too heavy on the Leon segments which weren't all that exciting. Also I hope the actual story portion of this dlc is minimal because nothing good can come from the current RE writers especially after how RE9 turned out.

Cool, I'm down for more and give us a Mercs mode and PSVR2 support too, to make it extra special.

Hell, I'd pay for a VR mode DLC. RE7, Village and RE4 Remake are incredible in VR, so need it in RE9 too.

Her boss didn't know there would be a tyrant there who has been looking for her for years with a zombie virus gun? Also, it's a video game calm down.
 
It should be Chris IMO. They did Ada recently and I feel like they can't pull another time skip and use the little girl. Chris could make sense with how the story plays out in Requiem.

The fact that a lone FBI analyst was sent isn't this games most glaring unrealistic feature. It's not like it was an active crime scene. It was a condemned building with police overwatch.

They needed a vulnerable lone person to tell a horror story. It isn't that deep.

It's like people being all up in arms about how Ethan went to find his missing wife alone instead of calling the police for assistance from the get go. I didn't see anyone freaking out about that.

Resident Evil 7 and 8 are excellent highly regarded games, but I think Requiem is better.

If this mini-game in May is Mercenaries I'll be very happy!

its not about what they need to tell a horror story, is how they do things to tell the story and thats why RE9 has lots of retarded plots conveniences, cause it has bad writing all over the place.

Are people really accusing Resident Evil of bad writing?

Bad writing is a goddamn staple of the series, don't you dare improve the script and plot for modern audiences. The B movie schlock is why most fans love it!

MH Wilds has a chance. Best we can do for DD2 2nd anniversary is JPG Overlay.

I think DD2 is a one and done.

Lokaum D+ Lokaum D+ I'm sure the DLC will do it's best to rectify all the poorly explained plot points and I'd think have to center almost exclusively on the BSAA.

Wild how something that's normal and actually happens in real life, is now somehow a retarded plot convenience and bad writing; the only retarded thing here is judging it with knowledge from an outside observer, like people yelling at a character in a movie to "to not go in there!" because we as the observer know the killer on the other side.
