I've been trying to go in mostly blind, but did any of the previews mention anything about the devs supporting mods/modding? I believe the game is using a proprietary game engine, so it's anybody's guess how mod friendly it will be, out of the box.

I'm glad I have so much on right now, because it gives me a good excuse to wait for the dust to settle - I'm torn between PS5 and PC for this - I suspect it will feel better as a controller+couch game, but my PC (GPU) hasn't had an actual workout since I finished cyberpunk...

Too many games half-finished right now so will wait and see how this lands - but 2026 feels like it's off to a great start

I'm fairly confident in this turning out to be a solid title.
From what I've seen and heard about the game's structure, the risks of this being a complete disappointments are fairly low.

The doubt is more if it will be just ok or if it will actually prove to be an exceptional, genre-defining instant classic.

With that rig and considering the type of game, I'd go with PC even if just for the mods that might come out later.

Dragon's Dogma 2 for example has some that really improve the game, and might be the case with this one too.
