Starfield Future Will Be Unveiled Next Week by Bethesda

yeah its my fault that i wasnt ready , not the shitty writing , not the shitty level design , not the shitty loading times , not the shitty empty 1000 planets

i promise next time i will try to be ready

No, i doubt starfield can pull a no mans sky or cyberpunk, those two had good foundations despite bareboness or bugs.

Starfield is just bad, game would have to be remade from the ground up.

A similar amount of time has now passed since Starfield as between Cyberpunk's release and Phantom Liberty. In that time Bethesda have put out a boring 10 hour dlc and broke Fallout 4 twice.

And released Skyrim again!

I've got Starfield now as a gift and i have played 30 mins of it, i'm interested to see what they are doing with it, i know i'm going to be bored at some point but if BGS has made it less boring then that will be at least better, right.

Excited Wake Up GIF by Originals

Does anyone really care??

The game looks awful, hamstrung by Bethesdas woefully outdated tech and last gen approach to game development...

To think this studio can actually make a worthy follow up to Skyrim in this day and age

Good game, not great, but not as bad as people make it out to be. Like Avowed it will slowly start to get praise once its on PS5 💪🟢

Only the weapon mechanics were good and I believe they hauled in id Software to do that.
So consider me a skeptic on them turning a near 180, mostly on the boring as shit exploration.

The empty, copy/paste planets aren't even what I mostly disliked about Starfield, it was the naggy, boring af crew they stick you with. Put a patch out to give them actual personalities and I might be interested in picking it back up.

Would up doing most of the game solo because I just didn't see the point of taking them with me most of the time.

Starfield was a good game.

However, it wasn't the amazing game on the level of Skyrim it needed to be for Microsoft post acquisition.

People will be singing a different tune once it hits PS5. Highs and lows. Brilliance and clear flaws; there still isn't really another game like it on PS5. Don't sleep on it.

Yes I was ready you silly composer.

Once my honeymoon phase was over after about 15-20 hours I just zipped through the story to finish it and don't think will ever touch again.

I wasn't ready for:
-Empty barren planets with the same outposts.
-Bland companions.
-Loading screens galore.
-Very ordinary "safe" writing.

I did enjoy the ship building but that just wasn't enough.

Interested in learning more.

I had put the game down on release, expecting they will do something about exploration.

Hopefully it is meaningful to explore space.

The last moment I played, I went to the furthest system to see if anything changed. I only found a pirate outpost I saw 20 times already. The game is ass.

It depends on if they are arsed to make use of the extra SSD speed and the Pro GPU grunt (and PSSR2 too)… and the Dual Sense. Will they bother? Otherwise I have it on XSX until GP expires.

I'm stoked for this, they've either completely overhauled it and it'll be great, or everyone's response will be "that's IT??" and it'll be hilarious.
