I find the magnetism happens on the steel bars you can hang off of or those orange pipes you can stand on. Don't see them on common jumps or any sort of wall jump/riding.

On a side note, i like how the game doesn't give a shit and just lets you skip big segments with just some weird parkour.

you can definitely feel some magnetism during wallruns and when jumping onto ledges of platforms.

it's mild, but I notice it. I sometimes used the crouch mid air to circumvent the magentism, as that seems to completely disable it. that way I was able to do jumps that the magnetism would have stopped me from

Up to level 4 , I like it but it's doing my agitated levels no good with some of the parkour and climbing stuff.

A game said to be a sort of nod to the past, when that was stated I didn't think it would take me back to my shouting rude words and almost throwing my controller period.

Lmao, i found a way to skip the entirety of Chapter 3. This game seems great for speedruns.

yeah, and the further you get the harder it is to tell if the paths I go down are intended or if I am going out of bounds lol.
the game basically has almost no invisible walls... which can lead to softlocks tho, I softlocked myself a few times already when I tried some weird stuff

but some parts are actually clearly designed with that in mind as well. I found a few paths that are very much intended as skips by the devs.

I also found something that seems like an easteregg? and I wonder if you can do something special here or if it's just reall some funny way to kill youself 🤣

if you actually go further down that way instead of jumping down that shaft, you do in fact skip to the next big checkpoint

I try not to skip parts because I want to collect all orbs... which is sometimes an issue when I actually can't tell if I'm going the intended way or not lol

you can also do useless whacky stuff like this:

That definitely looks intentional. And yeah, i often end up going down weird routes and inadvertently skipping segments of the game lol. I don't really care much though since i can just go back to the menu and reload from parts of the chapter.

I am impressed by the fact nothing really 'looks' out of bound no matter where i end up in, the game almost feels open world-ish. Not just skips, you can also do big back tracks. I'm pretty sure there are many very unconventional ways to beat this.

Oh, and if you soft lock, you can respawn holding down R. That takes you back to the last checkpoint (don't think the game ever told me this)

oh yeah, going backwards is very easy to do in many chapters. in chapter 4 I think, there's a pretty easy way to go from the very end to the very start of the chapter by simply sliding through a fence that's right next to the intended path.

I had to reload a few checkpoints already because I skipped ahead and went back to get the orbs
