Put in my sim and it work, also show 4g. I like how I sign into my Live account and all my contacts and calendar just show up.
got my titan and I am totally impressed with this thing, its so smooth. Pinch to zoom works like butter, its even better than my galaxy S2. The screen is great 800x480 doesn't really bother me. Love the zune music player, such a beautiful design.

I don't want the Titan.
Or the Radar.
Or the Focus Flash/S.
Or the Lumia 800 (bigger than expected).
Everything's so boring this year.![]()
it's not a custom it's device specific.(I'm assuming since it was not on my Focus and it does not show up in Zune)

MS dictates that a wp7 ringtone must be...
No longer than 39 seconds of the songWMA or MP3. The ringtone can be either Windows Media Audio or MP3 format.
Unprotected. The ringtone must be free of DRM (digital rights management), so Zune Music Pass music will not work.
Size. The ringtone must be smaller than 1 MB (megabyte).
Set the Id3 genre tag to ringtone. (obviously you can do this manually)
Basically if you can get the tones off your current device and they adhere to ms rules there's not an issue moving the tones, if for some reason they break one of those rules you'll have to edit the tone with an app like audacity.
Why can't phones, in 2011 (almost 2012), simply select a music file on the phone and play it as a ringtone?
I know there are technical limitations, and I'm no operating system designer, but it just boggles my mind that this still isn't happening at this point.

ANYONE ELSE GOT A TITAN !?
Or just download a free ringtone app from the Marketplace and hope you can find it?
I found the 1st gen dull and the Nokia too small lol
download easyring amazing app
it has basicaly every ringtone you will ever need
For the two weeks I owned the phone, I never got a complaint when I used speakerphone on calls. It may just be the device you have, too bad I can't test it, but check xda and see if others are complaining about that.crosses fingers.
I'm in PHX
I wouldn;t be as excited if this beautiful Focus S didn't have some horrible sound issue with speakerphone use for the other person. I'm convinced it's the poor design of the speaker/mic

If Dell can manage to slim it down and give it a dual core processor while maintaining the style and build quality for the next generation, they might have a real winner on their hands.
This is why I still use my Zune HD as my music player instead of my phone. The HD interface was much better for music where you can use gestures anywhere on the screen to control volume and track skipping.Only thing I don't like about the Titan so far is that I wish the buttons were a little more pronounced. Maybe because it's new, but I find myself hunting for the volume buttons in my pocket when I need to turn my music up or down at work and it takes me a little to find it.
Co-signed. The first generation had more diverse and interesting hardware, even though the Samsung Focus/Omnia ended being the most popular for a variety of reasonsnot only because they were the best handsets (I'd still like to know if T-Mobile's WP7 lineup did better without the competition from the iPhone). Apparently the manufactures took a look at the Focus' good sales (relatively speaking) and decided candybar is the only way to go, giving us lazy knockoffs of their phones from other platforms. Nokia is offering Generation 1 hardware; LG and Dell didn't bother at all this year. This is the WP version of the 3G->3GS upgrade. It'd be a shame if it's standardized as the WP7 hardware cycle, given how far behind Microsoft already is.
so far just by looking i can't seem to get over the fact that the titan doesn't have a flat back. that camera seems so out of place.
It does seem out of place, but honestly it's hardly even noticable. I'll throw a picture up tonight if I can, but the camera really only sticks out by like a millimeter. It sits flat and doesn't look that offputting in person.
Are you guys upgrading or getting Windows Phones for your first time? If you're upgrading, are you actually paying a shitload of money to upgrade before your contract is up?

I don't think it has anything to do with the Focus' sales and more the fact that candy bars are what an overwhelming majority of the market want. Windows Phones already sell in small numbers, if you're creating a phone that a minority of that minority wants then...
By the way, do you have any stats to back up your claim that "candybars are what an overwhelming majority of the market want". I'd wager that most of the top-of-line phones are candybars with few equivalent models in other form factors. I'd also wager that the sales of candybar phones is greatly skewered by the fact that's the only formfactor that Apple offers.

Same with the top button. Considering it's the only way to unlock the phone, I wish it stuck out from the phone a little more. Probably something I'll get used to though.
Besides that it seems like a really nice device. I'll be able to give a better impression once I orient myself with WinPhone better. One thing I am really impressed by though is that I can still type with one hand even though the screen is so much bigger than my 3gs. The phone really doesn't feel too big.
