Right. From my point of view, dagger is worse than blink as an escape in nearly all situations.
Then it's clear most DOTA2 players haven't gotten used to him.
I can't say Blink CM isn't effective, because it really is, but Blink is hard to farm on her and still leaves her squishy as hell. I can see the logic behind Blink + BKB but it's not a common way to play her (mostly because she really can't afford both Blink and BKB along with wards and such).
You get 19 points of hp for each point of STR, that's the main reason to get Bracers.
But no, you should never ever ever ever ever ever start out with one of the +6/+3/+3 stat items. Get the 150g +3 items, or the 185g +2/+2/+2, but never complete it until you really need the room and you have nothing else to buy. Since you will want at least 200g worth of HP regen, and courier/wards is another 200g, you'll be left with 200g for branches (+1 to all)
/gauntlets of ogre strength (+3 STR) /clarities (100 mana over 50 seconds).
Other items to consider as an INT hero:
Urn of Shadows.
Eul's Scepter of Divnity
Force Staff
Mekansm
Item choice, for supports, really comes down to what your team needs and what you can feasibly farm up without hurting your ward game.
Nice. Will there be a flying mini-Pudge?
I think you mean fart-powered jets.Jet powered farts.
Chibiterasu -> Amaterasu courier models plz. Mini pudge lolol
I'm not sure where exactly your issue with farming is, but if it's the actual last-hitting, there's not much to do except practice. Try to memorize the time it takes for your animation and the shot to land on the creep. It's a little different for every hero, for example, with Zeus, you can see a small lightning flash shortly before he actually fires the shot, things like that can help you with aligning your shots with the creeps' HP. Of course, a quelling blade can help with farming as well, just because you do more damage and the timing window becomes bigger. So after a few weeks playing in the beta I've narrowed down some of my favorite heroes and would like to start working on improving with them.
Here's the list of my top favorites. Morphling, Faceless Void, Windrunner, Puck and Enigma. I don't have any problem playing support characters and in Pubs I'll fill whatever role is lacking on our team. I've probably spent as much time in practice matches as I have in random Pubs with a bunch of characters but, I would like to learn to play a carry more effectively since that is the role I have found most enjoyable. Does anyone have any tips on farming? Specifically with Morphling, I have a really hard time keeping up in terms of gold and xp.
Random side note. Out of the 30 something matches I've played I have actually only run into 1 really big douche. I was worried after my experience with HoN that things might be even worse but so far so good. *knock on wood*
I haven't had enough experience with Drum and Medallion (both added after I quit DOTA years ago) to say anything about them.Dont forget drum and medallion.

alt q, alt w, alt eSo is there a way to effectively bind equipment keys that doesn't involve me needing an extra hand or fingers? How do you guys deal with this shit?

Oh man, this didn't even cross my mind. I was doing some absolutely bonkers garbage with my keyboard.
Thanks.

I bought a Razer Naga when I was still really big into WoW, and even though it's marketed as an MMO mouse, it's proved to be so useful in other games as well. In Dota, I have all my items bound to the thumb buttons.

The description on one of her moves clearly states that Puck is a "she". I don't know why there'd be confusion with it but a lot of people seem to think Puck is a guy.I found this interesting: list of voice actors and the heroes they worked on.
GLAdOS is Broodmother.
Also, Puck is officially a girl.

Play omni, heal people, shield the carry, win the game.Is there a particular hero, if any, I would want to start off with as someone who is mostly new to the genre? I've played a bot match with Omniknight and also watched some matches and it seems like he would be suitable for helping me get a better feel for the flow of the game.

They go out of their way in the "Lore" section to refer to Puck as "it," genderless. The she in the ultimate text must be an oversight.
They do the same for morphling. Yet they refer to it as a him in his skill tabs, cause no one likes calling a character it over he or she. So yes I guess its an oversight, if by oversight you mean mentioned on three of Puck's skill tabs.
It's mentioned in Phase Shift and nowhere else.
