They outplayed you there really hard, and Demon was such an idiot to waste his BoTs to farm bot instead of tping to base when they were pushing, plus your AM is pretty bad.this game holyshit
they got mega creeps D:
and this lion went bloodstone instead of sheepstick, lool.
Too confidentI just watched this demon farm farm farm and then die because he was farming too far.
Well if your talking about going into their base and just farming creeps inside it, it's probably because he realised they couldn't kill him in one stun rotation, he had 2.9k HP at that point, at best Slardar gets 3 lucky bashes, then he blinks away with 600~ hp and he can hex the slardar if he chases him with Sprint. Also Death Prophet was either lagging or blind, cause the person playing her missed like 3+ silences throughout the game, the range on it is so huge, so he probably wasn't worried about getting silenced either.It was gutsy, I gotta learn to play like that. Besides all the dying of course.
Better than whatever the shit he was before.
So 'kirby's crazy control scheme' is gaining traction. And soon, you will all buy track ball mice, Bwhahahahaha.
But really, why are you all going with it now? I did it back in LoL because people kept complaining about my map awareness, and I found that having the move map keys bound to WASD helped with that.
nope
lion's stun should be auto-cast!But think of all the time you'll save with smart casting and wasd camera controls.

so forward thinking!
I've always done this since I played HoN. It's much more flexible to use WASD for short term camera panning and mouse for faster pinpoints.
WASD = Cameras
1234 = skills
QER = first row of items
Does pressing the middle mouse button serve any function in the game? I'm curious about using it to move the camera, or something.
Ah, so that's why it seemed familiar. Good, I was going to try that if it wasn't default!Mid mouse + movement will pan the camera around.
Dota beginner here.
Still haven't found a hero that I'm comfortably with yet. Right now it's a toss up between Pudge and Earthshaker. Dunno if Agi or Int characters are very beginner friendly. Is it best to jump straight into online or play against bots? I have 5 hours game time against bots so I'm learning heroes but nothing else it seems.
Try Skeleton King and Anti-Mage. They're fairly easy to pick up.

STOP RECOMMENDING NEW PLAYERS PLAY CARRIES
Agreed.lich is the beginner hero to learn.
I kind of hate the shortcuts for skills. I'm so used to DOTA 1 shotcuts. qwer, wtf?!
STOP RECOMMENDING NEW PLAYERS PLAY CARRIES
Seriously. People have theoretically played video games. I doubt that new players go "oh no I have never played a videogame with more than two buttons before!"
Consoles have 8 buttons these days, and PC shooters often have at least 8 that you are regularly pressing.
The things that new players don't understand are timing/positioning (so they get caught out of position and die) what to build and how to play against different kinds of characters.
Are you controlling him on accident at your fountain? If so.. Just move him away from the spawn area...Is there any way to make Ctrl + click not control disconnected heroes? I was just playing as Broodmother and I use that to move me and my spiderlings, but it was also moving our disconnected Pudge!

Some people are horrible at supports and decent at carries.
However, I would agree that if you're completely new to the game/genre, then you shouldn't start with a carry. Support is easier to pick up. But there's no reason to stick to support if you find you don't like it.

Sorry, no, an awful support can ruin a game just as much as an awful carry.

VS can literally just stand around and contribute to a fight. How do you mess that up?SRS BSNS
