it is a good year for the bay area. both niners/raiders in the playoffs (well, maybe raiders) and we have the best special teams in each conference!
OMT, imagine a Raiders/Niners SB. The only thing that could make me more excited is Pitbull on ABC in Times Square.

I was talking with the wife today about the worst super bowl possibility.

oh you'd love to see the 49ers fail, but unfortunately for you we've already done something the bucs will never do again: make the playoffs!
the problem with the bucs is that they don't have a qb and they won't be drafting high enough this year to get one. maybe you can get barkley next year since you will definitely be in the running for a top 3 pick!

nah, not really a huge basketball fan. i'll watch here and there, and will watch the playoffs, but i have no team of my own.
i do use the warriors in NBA 2k sometimes though!

but yeah, i'm not very good with the sticks. that's why i can succeed (somewhat) with guys like mcgirk and carroll, doesn't take any combo moves to get good shots. but beyond that my main problem with 2k as a series are all the canned animations. i know it looks great in motion but the control isn't there in my opinion. madden/ncaa might look goofy at times, but i always feel in complete control of my guys
NFL GAF would crash the site with that awesomeness.

lulz i can't hate on you since i was delusional too (i said the 2-14 niners were a few plays away from the playoffs!)
one game that WASN'T close on your schedule was the niners game!
It wasn't close either year, but I liked last year's a lot better.
And we literally were a couple plays away, we couldn't get a couple fucking yards in the first Falcons game. Our special teams fucked us in the second Falcons game, and the refs fucked us in the Lions game.
We win ANY of those games and we're in.

Wrapped up the annual New Year's Eve party. Had 28 people (friends and family) over for a typical eat all you can eat, drink all you can drink good time. The wife is amazing and really puts on a show with the layout.
Shared some Glenfiddich 12 in my new Glencairn scotch glasses.
Good times. Just finished cleaning up and headed to bed.
