I've seen her cooter and let me tell ya it ain't a pleasant sight. Breesus wife >>> her

Caldwell still "under evaluation". Nothing will happen until the new GM is in place. He could "very well be back in 2012".

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

LOL

His gametime decisions have been AWFUL.

So yeah...

http://content.usatoday.com/communi...ts-dallas-cowboys-nfl-eli-manning-tony-romo/1

NBC's broadcast of the Eli Manning and the Giants' 31-14 win over Tony Romo's Cowboys pulled a 17.1 overnight rating, up 36% from last season's comparable Week 17 win-and-in game between the St. Louis Rams and Seattle Seahawks.

The 17.1 is the highest prime time overnight rating for any Sunday night or Monday night football game in 13 years. And the highest overnight in the 6-year history of NBC's Sunday Night Football.

The number surpassed SNF's previous high of a 16.9 for Cowboys-New York Jets in Week 1. Dallas led all markets with a 37.1 overnight rating. The New York market ranked 4th with a 25.3 rating.

So while looking for an avatar for FMT to use after the Niners get Marty'd in a couple weeks, I came across this Drew Brees + Wife pic. Wow she's gorgeous and Drew ain't bad either. He's like the perfect role model athlete, always a class act. Every interview he conducts is so down to earth.

He's a douchebag that would kill your grandma and burn your house if it would break a record or pad a stat.

I still can't believe T.O. got away with that. If he said that during the Twitter generation, he'd be in protective custody.

It was still pretty well known at the time. Funny how nobody got the "shitty cancerous teammate" vibe from him at the tim.

Sorry, Chargers fans. It's not looking good. Same for Jets fans with hopes of Norv coming in and running the offense.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/01/02/signs-improving-for-norv-turner-and-a-j-smith/

Chargers owner Dean Spanos said he needed a few days to think before making any decisions about coach Norv Turner and G.M. A.J. Smith.

That alone was a good sign for Turner. So was this quote from Spanos:

“It was really exciting,” Spanos said of Sunday’s win over the Raiders. “I’m really proud of them. I think it really shows how resilient they are, how hard they play for this coach.”

It sounds like there is a realistic chance for Turner and Chargers G.M. A.J. Smith to both stick around.

CBSSports.com’s Clark Judge has a ”source a source close to the Chargers organization” that believes Turner and general manager A.J. Smith will both be retained.

I liked the ESPN segment that covered the story. Showed Garcia with his wife or whatever at the time, and he kept kissing her at all the most awkward moments. It was sooo forced.

I have no idea what the guy does, but at least that segment was a total fraud.

Gorgeous WTF? Thats not even attractive for a normal guy. Brees should easily get a better woman than a coach or back up level qbs, or a fucking rapists( e.g. Tim Hasselbeck, Harbaugh, Rapist McRapist).

This is such a random memory but anyone remember during a Fox pre or post game show Terry Bradshaw after a Garcia highlight or interview said "Man that is one ugly quarterback, just a really ugly guy"...had me in stitches and I still remember it to this day every time Garcia's name pops up. JB was just like OK moving onnnnn....

Short with a receding hairline. It was his only defense.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but don't forget that this is the first year with the new playoff overtime rules.

If a team wins the coin toss and gets a field goal, the other team gets the ball.

I thought that was in place last year too? Just no overtime games

Was it? I thought this was the first year. Hmmm...maybe not.

Either way, after watching the OT of the Outback Bowl, the NFL needs to do something about their overtime rules. College is MUCH more exciting.

Now that's a beautiful, wholesome family right there. Not some dirty Playboy model + ugly quarterback who are only together cause said QB is rich and famous.

I say make it a regular extra (shorter) quarter. But I know that's not a popular idea.

Wait a minute. Wait.

There are Steelers fans here who think we should cut Ward...and pay Peyton Hillis to be an RB for us?

:jnc

First thing's first: Ward isn't leaving the Steelers or the league until he calls it quits himself. There's no way the Rooney family and management opt to cut him – encourage him to retire, maybe, but there's no way in two hells that the Pittsburgh Steelers CUT their best wide receiver in franchise history. I think he might stay on one more year, but I'd like him to hang his cleats up on his own power this offseason. We'll see.

Going after Hillis is even more foolish. It's about as shortsighted as Oakland picking up Palmer. He's had one good season with an AWFUL return this year, and there's now ay the Steelers give him the money he thinks he deserves. Not to mention he's not a fit for our type of offense. We need an offseason pickup like Sproles, although we won't get anywhere NEAR that quality of a player.

Depending on what teams do next offseason, the Steelers could pick up some very strong possible FA RBs: LenDale White, Ryan Grant, LT, Marshawn Lynch...wonder what will happen with Matt Forte over the offseason.

If anything, they should increase Ward's playing time for the playoffs, he's always been money come playoff time. Meanwhile, Wallace has become a ghost in the last 4 games. And I wouldn't spend 50 cents on Hillis.

Soo...who are we drafting at RB this year?

Whoever it is, I hope it's not until the 3rd round. We need a corner opposite Taylor and another stud OL first.

I would actually consider grabbing an experienced RB on a one-year deal. Hillis is one option. I think he basically wore out his welcome in his curse-laden season.

Both are better than Dwyer or Clay.

edit: LT is too old though

Well I think the most obvious UFA to look at for next season is Michael Bush (Raiders)...assuming Lynch and Forte take their money/tags that the teams should be desperate to pay.

Isn't Lendale White working a car dealership or something these days? May as well sign Tiki or Portis

Yeah. Ward should be our short slant man and a big third down target, next to Brown and Miller. As for Wallace, that's pretty much the benefit of having some of the best receivers in the league: as soon as one gets hot, he's the focus of coverage and then someone else just as good can step up and cause problems for defenses (Wallace ---> Brown)

I was looking at some list from the preseason of 2012 free agents so that very may well be. I didn't know Bush was a FA next year...that could be a good grab. But that sort of screams "Duce Staley" to me.
