Fatty is hitting him pretty hard with the Qs but Tannenbaum isn't biting on any of it and basically offering nothing.
heh I'd rather hear you guys summarize than listen to francessa. thanks. tennebaum is a snake; he won't ever offer anything but p.r. speak. for an organization that's supposedly loosey goosey they sure are a bunch of tightasses when shit hits the fan.

Fewell is signed through 2012. It was believed his contract would end this season but he signed a one year extension last season:

Summary: Everything is staying the same but it's all going to be different next season. I promise!

Bringing Tom Moore on was the right decision.
Asked point blank if Shotty doesn't get an HC position, will he be the OC next season? "Absolutely" (I don't buy it for a second)
Are you ok with Rex being a loud mouth? "Yep. I love Rex!"
Was paying Santonio the wrong decision? "No. He'll be brought onboard."

Mike was trying to jar him too "You guys regressed in every area, how did bringing him in help?" Heh.
Funny part was Mike telling him to ask Shotty if he was ok with bringing Moore in and Fatty goes "I wouldn't believe his answer anyway". :jnc

Easy solution:

Make Greg McElroy the starting quarterback, offensive coordinator, head coach, and general manager, and the Jets will be all set.

Former Alabama and current Jets rookie backup quarterback Greg McElroy went after his "extremely selfish" teammates in an interview this morning on 97.3 The Zone in Birmingham, claiming multiple teammates "didn't care if we won or lost."

Every year I go to one away Ravens game. We pick the destination based on several criteria, almost none of them football related, as seeing the Ravens play live anywhere is awesome, so our picks are based on the city. So which of these destinations make for the best several day trip? Usually based on attractions, food, etc.

Ravens away games, with some already made decisions:

@Pittsburgh- Fuck that place, fuck their fans, fuck their mediocre city (also, already been there)
@Cincinnati- Lame
@Cleveland- Even lamer
@Kansas City
@San Diego-Already went their for a game (the one where Ray killed Sproles on the one to end the game)
@Philadelphia- No thanks, been there with a bunch of friends at 16 and got jumped by a bunch of 40 year olds. Oh yeah, it was preseason. Oh yeah, the game wasn't even played because the turf was so shitty.
@Washington -Been there, lived there, no thanks.
@Houston

So really, it's between Houston and Kansas City, unless there is a good reason to check out any of those other cities. Thoughts?

All you need is a decent QB and offensive coordinator
I don't see Shoddy surviving. Sanchez is the best we got right now. Build the o-line and run game up, take the ball out of his hands. And get some decent safeties. for a start. on the plus side, kerley looks good, McKnight too if he can stay healthy. And Wilkerson is gonna be a solid cog for years to come. but enough off-season musings. not the time nor place.

I would check out Kansas City. From what I hear they have awesome food and the atmosphere at Arrowhead is unrivaled.

John Fox conferences are never reassuring, when asked if they'd do any early easy pass plays to get Tebow into the game outside of predictable passing downs, Fox just babbles about winning as a team and everyone being responsible.....so i'm guessing rush rush pray punt. Hope it works *shrug*.

I'm going into football hibernation until saturday...when the Lions beat the Saints.

You might not want to show your face in Houston after we demolish you next week in Baltimore

Meanwhile Eagles have the interest of former Giants DC Steve Spagnuolo. :|
Eh. Still have my doubts that they'll dump Castillo. If they get Spags as their DC, oh well. Curious to see how he well he plays with Washburn and his insistence to run that Wide 9 shit. Either way, I've already stated in the last few pages, Fewell should have another opportunity to run this defense with a full compliment of weapons.

...and hopefully he draws some DPOY votes.

First Buckethead now The_frankman. Dunno why he was banned but he said this, "If my ban is not overturned I will be rooting for the Giants this weekend in spirit with legendary Giants WR Michael Clayton". Might have been something in NBA-Gaf but not sure.

Frankman apparently got banned for posting a pirated link in a Sailor Moon thread.

As a fellow ravens fan. Ima say Houston. Check out the strip clubs. Hopefully Shaub is healthy so he can hand us the game with a pick 6 in overtime again. That was a great game I wish I could have been at that one.

I don't see them dumping Castillo either, but they can re-assign his position. However, I'm with you on the Washburn thing. I am wondering how that works out.

Fewell will have his hands full again next year. Goff a upcoming FA, will he come back? Will Terrell Thomas rebound smoothly? Osi is a likely goner, and Tuck is always dinged. Having JPP, Phillips, and Boley playing so well is good to have. But the team could use a new MLB if Goff isn't brought back for whatever reason, and they'll need to draft corners and I imagine they look at DE again also.

short of jeff garcia bailing out the texans (which they won't let him do for some reason) they aren't beating the bengals. probably the worst #3 seed in league history

Why are you such an angry person? What have the Texans ever done to you?

They not only will beat the Bengals they will do it in convincing fashion.

The fact that T2 and Goff are coming off of serious knee injuries puts the leverage once again in the favor of Jerry Reese. He's going to go in with the mindset of giving them both "prove it" contracts much like he did with Kiwi and Steve Smith. Kiwi got a very fair two year $8 million contract to prove he can stay healthy a full season and now he has. If he can do again for 2012, he'll get a nice payday. Smith walked away of course.

I see T2 getting the better part of that deal and staying on as I believe the Giants will rid themselves of Aaron Ross and will want to retain him. I don't see Goff walking away from that type of contract either since I don't believe the market will be very big for him.

Corner as a high pick I don't know about. Prince Amukamara will have a full off season to integrate into the defense and I expect much from him next year. We'll be getting guys back like Brian Weatherspoon who was coming on in the preason, Justin Tryon who showed upside as the slot corner and can add some more depth at the position. Tyler Sash will also have a full offseason to work his way onto the field to give us more depth at Safety (which will lead to Deon Grant being released).

We have a full compliment of very young linebackers who will get a full offseason. Greg Jones could be that middle linebacker for us or even move Boley to MLB and give J. Williams a start at his OLB position after a full offseason (crazy that our best performing rookie was a 6th rounder!).

I agree that DE may be considered but from what I understand it's a pretty weak pass rushing class. We'll be getting Marvin Austin back at DT which will reinforce the line. If we spend high picks on defense, I'd like to see a quality LB'er taken if anything. Perry will have weapons. I just hope they can freaking stay healthy.:(

Aside from that draft wise - offensive line, offensive line, offensive line.;) I wouldn't mind that Stepfan Taylor kid out of Stanford if he comes out either as I'm sure Brandon Jacobs will be dumped as well.

what the texans have done is deprived me of seeing one of the great QB's of our generation in favor of some fucking bum who will probably go 24/28 for 87 yards and people will say WOW LOOK AT THAT COMPLETION %! TJ YATES? MORE LIKE TJ GREATS!

Herp? Haven't read anything today about that. Harrison has been 60-70 percent all year, and Troy's always battling something (concussions, groin, etc). Both will play.

Here's that hit:

Sorry, I got tied up with some things at work. I found this, which confirms what I heard on the radio earlier. Although I thought they said foot, but irc Harrison has had the toe problem for awhile now?

The only difference that I heard is the Dawkins might play. Which would be amazing for Denver.

Calm down, son. We're talking about TJ Yates, here. He's not fucking Sam Bradford good.
