So we're just throwing around terms like "legit" willy-nilly now, I guess.Seahawks and Cardinals were legit playoff contenders towards the end of the season. Certainly better than Jags/Colts.
We cursed ourselves by not re-signing Leach. I'm still so bitter about that.one day we will have an Elite QB like Flacco.
buy yeah, Ravens always seem to have Texan's number...
Every couple of years or so I read about Freddie Mitchell being a 1st round pick and I'm always shocked...
Did you ever give a report of your trip to Cleveland?

Nope, texans would have lost an additional game against the colts and would have been demoralized. Niners have already won without our best wr (out for year), pwill missing a quarter of the season and gore consistently hurt. No excuses.
And pwill took foster out. Thats just what happened! He played against us, got hurt, and mussed 4 or 5 weeks! Case closed!
Can there even be a tie in the NFL? /McNabbTalon- said:He hates us, too. First playoff tie!

I loved Vontae but the running game has not suffered because of the lack of Leach.
The odd fact of this stupid, niners/Texans arguement, is there any Bengals fans here in NFL GAF?
I love the "this is hindsight but I am going to act like this is what I thought at the time" nature of the authors comments.

And the NFC west was good? Divisions are about the same.

Lulz relax guy
I wonder if Dalton's parent's have Texans season Tickets. Hell, they live in Katy.
I saw a report once on channel 13 that they are die hard Texan fans and so was Dalton growing up. Wonder if McNair will be as classy as Brown in Cincinnati and make his parents sit up in the nose bleeds.
god, you're fucking retarded.

Arian foster pulled his hamstring on the first practice of training camp. you should just quit while your behind.
How would the texans have lost an additional game against the colts? The colts got crushed last year at home with peyton on the field, so they split 2 years in a row even with peyton on the field.
No they were not. Jacksonville/Tennessee isn't equal to Seattle/Arizona. Jacksonville is by far the worst out of that bunch.
Well that's just backing up my point. When I say legitimate I meant only other team worth a shit in your division.

Greg Manusky has been fired! Woo
Did arian foster play against the niners? Was he injured in that game? How many weeks did he miss after?
Let the childrens laughter remind us how we used to be!
The Lions have won one playoff game since the inception of the Super Bowl. I don't see that trend changing this weekend against a team that has already beat them, and only a month or so ago.
Honestly, Detroit lost to every other team in the NFC playoffs other than NYG (they didn't meet this season). Even if they did win they'd have to go back to Lambeau, a place they just lost at to the backup squad of Green Bay, a place they haven't won a game at in 20 years.
They are dead.
I read this thread more than I post in it, although I have been known to pipe up from time to time.
Also, the Saints would be the lock of the week if the Broncos weren't in the playoffs. The Steelers and the Saints this week are the closest you're going to get to a sure thing in the NFL.
I like NYG and Cincy in the other two, but I don't have a strong feeling about either of those picks.
Redskins Defense - TM - Redskins
Former Bucs coach Raheem Morris reportedly dined with members of the Redskins organization Wednesday night.
As George Wallace of WTOP Washington points out, Morris and Redskins OC Kyle Shanahan were assistants on Tampa's staff in the mid-2000s. Both up-and-comers then, Shanahan was a lowly Quality Control coach while Morris had just been promoted to assistant DBs coach. Redskins GM Bruce Allen also just so happened to hold the same position in Tampa. The Skins would likely target Morris to coach their secondary, potentially with an "assistant head coach" tag.

yes he played, and he re aggravated his previous hamstring injury it was not a new injury like your trying to imply, popular opinion says he shouldnt have played because obviously he wasn't ready. He missed 3 and half games after that and then sat out the last game to rest for the playoffs and still finished 5th in the league in rushing.
Anyway, dont know why you care so much about what your team didnt do to him. How exactly does a linebacker force a re injury to a hamstring anyway?
Jags had a record 27 players on IR this year and STILL had a top 5 defense. Titans were in the playoff race until week 17 unlike the Seahawks/Cardinals who had a meaningless game in Week 17. So you punish a team because of a shitty division? What was the Niners excuse last year with a 7-9 team winning the division?
MechDX said:Using that logic all the Patriots Superbowl wins should be revoked because they beat a shitty AFC East at that time.
Don't start this shit. The 2004 Patriots beat a 12-4 Colts Team, a 15-1 Steelers team and a 13-3 Eagles team to win the Super Bowl. The Texans backed into the playoffs this year and then proceeded to lose to the Colts and Titans.

I look forward to never seeing you or your 60-ish total posts in this thread again when the Lions use the Superdome as their personal litter box.
I dont need to imply anything. Patrick willis destroyed him and thats all there is to it!
I hope it happens but it won't. I went to the game on Christmas Eve and it was awesome, but I knew as I left Ford Field that it was our last win of the season.
captive you are waaaaay to salty and defensive
Yeah. Foster only ended with 1,224 rushing yards![]()
only towards fmt's idiotic bullshit
only towards fmt's idiotic bullshit
No, with pretty much everything.
you're always salty and defensive
Didnt the Niners go 1-2 without Willis?
Yeah striving for 8-8....quality wins right there. The Colts are laughable and losing to them is embarrassing. The Jags though had a very good defense just their offense was like watching a monkey trying to fuck a football other than MJD. I just dont unerstand how a fan of team who has been the doormat of the NFC for the past decade after so many years of greatness can talk so much damn shit about a team that has been in existence for 10 years total. Perspective.....
Calm down bros
3 NFC West teams in the Superbowl in the past 10 years.
Man you cry about the Eagles and their fans so much. I dont get it at all, the teams almost never play.
I would say Eagles douchebags and how they treat opposing would be up there as well

YOU SON OF A BITCH I HAVE MET PEOPLE IN CANCER WARDS WHO HAVE CALMED DOWN
I'm not punishing the Texans, I'm saying you can't bash the Niners for their division, the Texans' division is worse.
The Rams had every single cornerback on their team go on IR should we start making up a record for them that's more representative? Winning five games with Gabbert as their QB should be an accomplishment.
