Niners were without our best defensive player, or did you forget that? Your team was losing that game regardless. Niners are a better team and thats just how it is!
I'm sure Giants fans would say the same of Jones and/or Roddy matched up against Aaron Ross and Grant on the backside.Gonzales and Douglas out of the slot against Rolle is a match-up nightmare as well. You can bet Boley will be in on plenty of coverages there. Especially on Gonzales.
Oh yeah, I figured Boley would get the assignment on Gonzo. I figured either him or JPP, but I figured Boley was better at coverage than JPP, since he was pretty decent at it when he was with us and JPP is probably going to get the job of harassing Ryan.
On paper this seems like this could be a very good game.
Which was neutralized by a QB with a high ankle sprain and the absence of the only player deserving of a starting spot on an NFL offensive line that we have.
We already beat the Lions in their house when they were one of the hottest teams in the league.

You guys did however the Lions offense is high powered and is playing out of their mind lately. If Detroit scores over 25 or above I just don't see the 49ers offense able to do the same.

I'm not saying I don't fear the Lions, because they are a pretty outstanding offense. That defense is shit though, probably the worst secondary in the entire league. Not too mention a sub-par run defense, and we kind of run the ball well.

He's actually worse than Gabbert, I don't think he has anywhere near Gabbert's mobility and his teams were worse than Gabbert's.
It's not a very good draft for QBs or DEs it seems like. Both Julio and Green are better than any of the WRs in this draft, though lots of teams won't draft WRs in the first round anyway. Seems like a good one for offensive linemen, though.
I responded to you in the other topic, but basically, He's in the" SR QB's from schools around the nation" part. He'd probably be better served moving back to Wideout for the NFL, Ala MATT SNOW JONES.

At least get the score right; it was 20-3. It was 6-3 until the late 3rd quarter and the Steelers were still in the game until the refs called Timmons for that garbage penalty on another Akers FG attempt.
