If this were to happen we'd probably not know until E3. We always expected CES to be pretty much a rehash of what they showed in E3. Of course I'd be glad to be proven wrong and have some surprise partnerships announced etc.

I just watched the LG and Samsung press conferences... the consumer electronics brands seem to be getting shit done. That screen on the Wii U controller is just pathetic compared to what we have on tablets and smartphones.

Yes. This. There is very little about the Wii U concept that I find appealing. It's like Nintendo saw Ipad's success and said, "Hey! Let's just do a tablet!"

Almost more hopeful for a redesign of the box. It's like they sucked all the personality out of it for fear of offending anyone. Very bland.

Whilst the viewing angles on the screen are pretty poor, there's one upgrade for Wii U's tablet screen I'm hoping Nintendo has implemented: capacitive touch.
