Goddamn, I hate those games where you and your team collectively lose their heads and make big throws. Ie tonight, I was Dark Seer, had a Vanguard, Aghanim's Scepter, and things were going pretty well. We double raxed them, yet we somehow managed to string together a series of inept dives and teamfights, dying over and over again. Their Lifestealer got really big and eventually ran over us, and we lost all three sets of barracks within 10 minutes, followed by the ancient. Overconfidence kills.

LOL, I saw that too, what was funny was tide must have thought bloody hell I'm still alive then Void came in locked him down with his Ulti and died that way.
Death Prophet is a counter to Storm Spirit too but Procarbine is dp player though. It was AP but it played out like Captains mode. Milkman manned up too picked first :O first time ever!
Randoms are so hilarious. I did solo matchmaking and my team won, and then the other team was saying "You guys are all noobs, learn English" at the end.
My favorite though, was Lifestealer on the other team telling me (playing Pudge) "lmao noob". Then he didn't get a single kill all game and I got about 3 on him.

I seem to be unable to download the latest update. The download always gets stuck at 95% or 98%. I tried restarting Steam, rebooting my PC, deleting the .blob file, "Verify Integrity Of Game Cache" and even "Delete Local Content", but it just keeps getting stuck in the final stretch.
When I hit "Play" there is an error message stating "An error occured while updating Dota 2 (connection timeout)".
Other Steam downloads/updates are working fine for me - so it seems to be a Dota 2 specific problem.
Is there anyone else having these issues and is there anything else I could try short of reinstalling Steam or contacting customer service?

Always remember Steam has profile pages, and tracks past username's.

Dota 2, 9 hours straight! Damn, that was tensely.
Can't cheat in DOTA 2, was never an asshole to me other then the wife quits, couldn't care less about the keys now.
Puppetyuber is a huge asshole, doesn't stop me from playing with him.

Meeru went by Mint way back in SC2beta-GAF, and super early HONbeta. Got banned from SC2 beta for map hacking, got banned from GAF.
Came back on GAF as Valenti, played a lot of HONbeta-GAF, forget why he had to ditch that username (EDIT: I think it was because he got banned for abusing the hell out of that infinite money minor totem courier bug?)
Then he was Meeru, and we all know how that ended.
I still have a problem playing with Meeru. The guy is a giant asshole (beyond puppetyuber level) and not fun to play with at all. He never talks, ignores his team, then disconnects everytime he is losing; or quits when he doesn't like what a teammate said, wants to buy a TV, needs to go to Mcdonalds, wants to read neogaf... the guy is not fun to play with, period. Some people just hop on his dick so he can carry them mid or boost their mmr (in HoN), but that usually ends up backfiring. Azuki is a different story and it sucks that his brother is such a douchebag and always gets him in trouble (selling the keys, selling his HoN account without Azuki knowing). Sorry, I don't play with scumbags that quit on their team every other second.

Man, speaking of Drow, had a match yesterday against a Drow that got so farmed so fast she was three-shotting me constantly. She actually literally one-shot our Shadow Shaman once.
It didn't help that I was playing Earthshaker for the second time and Kirby was playing Silencer for the first (?) time in the lane against her, on TOP of her being pretty good. We were screwed from the beginning.
(It also didn't help when I accidentally killed Kirby instead of saving him with my fissure.)
(It also didn't help when I accidentally knocked Slardar out of Shadow Shaman's ward traps with my fissure.)
Earthshaker is fun but it's gonna take some getting used to his fissure. I did all right the first time I played him, but last night was just... oh god. I could've played anyone else, even another carry, and been more useful. At LEAST less harmful to my own team. Haha.

They do, just not as often.
Broodmother is probably one of the least user-friendly heroes to learn, especially if you're expected to carry. Dozens of units to manage, you'll often see experienced Broods farming lanes and jungles simultaneously, and then you have to farm your butt off to get key items (Soul Ring, Orchid, BKB, damage items, Butterfly, etc).
