The best trick the Packers played on us this year was convincing us they were a good football team. Rodgers covered up so much shit with his fantastic season, and the two games he shits the bed (KC and NYG) we lose. Go figure. We need to get our defense and running game straightened out so we're not a one trick pony and can actually afford to have some off days in our passing attack and still win some fucking games.

Sure the refs were trying to hand us the game but there were PLENTY of chances to win the game.
Jennings shouldn't have been playing but once again - Fat Mike played someone when they weren't ready.

Awesome game Giants GAF (not Welli). Absolutely fucking destroyed the Packers in every single facet of the game. Even with atrocious officiating going against you almost every time, the game was rarely in doubt. Every time it got close, you had a huge take away. Firing on absolutely all cylinders, you have an awesome coaching staff (no matter what you guys think) and a quarterback who on occasion can be one of the best in the game.
Packers (in addition to getting clowned) had no business taking the field. They were unfocused, ill-prepared and flat not ready to play football. Jennings was a liability, Starks was a motherfucking joke of a piece of shit in the one area where it matter (pass pro), no one could catch, route running became a mystery and everyone flat sucked. I can't pick a single guy who even played marginally ok. Wells, maybe. A lot of that has to do with the Giants dominating every aspect, but a lot has to do with just thinking they could coast to a victory at home. Pathetic performance by everyone, including Rodgers. Guys dropping passes? Tough shit you cock-sucker, keep playing your game and stick to what had been working. Forcing balls to Jennings or fuck-it-and-chuck-it in a two score game against a god awful secondary is flat retarded. Say what you want about the defense and the fumbles, Aaron Rodgers lost that football game.

I finished up a project for my daughter, pretty much mellowed me out. Toy shelves, a book shelf and a toy chest! Plus we made a chalk board. I got a new table saw and router out of it, so all in all the weekend was a win!
I don't think that's true. But I don't really care much. The division is hot garbage and the Packers lost no one of importance (except Flynn) next year. Our schedule looks easy right now too. We'll be in the playoffs. Hopefully as no better than a #3 seed. The week off sucks balls.

I'd struggle to put this on Rodgers. His scrambling kept us in the game in the 1st half. Personally, I thought the 2nd half playcalling was willfully delusional. "Surely we can get a PA pass open deep! No? How about now! No? How about now!"
We even got something going with the power running game, then gave it up. Rodgers wasn't very good, but nobody was. Just a half-assed effort all around. I hate to bring it up, but I have to wonder if Philbin's absence during the week of prep came back to bite us.

I wouldn't blame the loss on the D at all, but putting it all on Rodgers is pretty harsh. He had some throws out of character, but the turnovers and drops were pretty crucial. And on top of that he had to convert 5(?) 1st downs using his legs?
We aren't a good football team, we're a good passing offense. Our defense was historically bad, we can't run the ball effectively, and our special teams had as much as an impact any special team unit that lacks Devin Hester can (very little).
The thing is our passing offense was so good it covered those issues up for most of the season. But whenever we struggled to pass, we lost the game. Fortunately that only happened twice, unfortunately one of those was our first playoff game.
Well done sir, that's a lot better than going on anger walks, drives, or flies.

Yeah, this bugged the shit out of me. They were really reaching for that big play and they didn't even need it at all.
The Packers played a ton of no-huddle in the second half, and Rodgers was checking out of routes, plays and sides constantly. Blaming the plays that are run for failure is as much on Rodgers as McCarthy.
Rodgers was clearly going deep because he was frustrated with drops and missed portections, at least that's how it appeared to me.
Cheesecake, I assume.
