Hey buckhethead. So I guess you are picking a new team to cheer for. Since your child rapist OC obviously does not fit your standard of character over anything.
Classy!

I didn't realize that our OC's son worked for the Packers?

Best of luck living in Detroit though!

Can we call a moratorium on these Packers - Lions fights?! I want it to be extra awesome when the Pats curb stomp the Poes (It's his birthday today too).

GO NINERS BIIIIIIIIITTTTTCCHHHHHHHH

WTF? If we're making stuff up, I hear Stafford is fat! Oh wait that's true.

Lay off beast, guys. If we honestly and truly have an NFLGAFer posting from inside Detroit, then I'm impressed. It means several things; he's 1) literate, 2) can afford internet access, and 3) not spending every waking second turning tricks for crack rocks.

Chances are he's a Ford.

What's everyone's parlay bets looking like this weekend? I'm thinking of dropping a mean $50 on Niners/Ravens (I was thinking of betting Giants but as I live in the Bay Area I have a feeling I'd get jumped if i betray the home team)

After the Bengals had a surprisingly successful season led by a stingy defense, it’s no surprise that Cincinnati defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer is a hot head-coaching candidate. But there are apparently divergent opinions about Zimmer around the league.

In Indianapolis, Zimmer has emerged as a candidate to replace the fired head coach Jim Caldwell. And in Tampa Bay, Zimmer is one of the candidates to replace the fired head coach Raheem Morris. So there are at least a couple of struggling teams that think he could be the man to turn the franchise around.

But while Zimmer was once a candidate in Miami, the Dolphins have decided to move on to the next round of interviews without Zimmer, and the Miami Herald reports that one source said Zimmer might have been too blunt and honest for the Dolphins’ liking.

It is true that Zimmer is known for speaking his mind, particularly in regard to his time coaching on the Falcons’ staff under Bobby Petrino, who quit during the season to coach at Arkansas. Zimmer called Petrino “a gutless bastard” and “a coward” who “didn’t have enough nuts to stay there and finish the job.”

I’m no NFL owner, but that’s the kind of blunt honesty I love to see in a coach.

Mike Zimmer will always be good in my book after what he said about Petrino.

Pfft. They all ran away to Ann Arbor and New York.

........He could be Mike Illitch.

Which fucking sucks, since I still get NBC in SD. Our NBC station is a low power station and they're not required to switch over to HD, so the fucking bastards won't.

I avoided all of the SNF games this year because I can't stand watching SD on my TV.

Might as well watch the stream on NBC.com

Charley Casserly didn't think Hakeem Nicks played in the week 10 game. Part of the reason he is picking the Giants.

Nicks had a TD in that game.

Look at it this way, watching in SD is better than listening to Joe Buck.

The guy is a complete moron come draft time especially. I struggle to understand why any network gives him an outlet.

Vice President Joe Biden Discovers the 49ers in San Francisco Yesterday

Yesterday, San Francisco welcomed Biden with open arms until he made the tragic mistake of declaring "The Giants are going all the way!" while campaigning for President Obama at an event in the city's Financial District.

As you can imagine, the cheering quickly turned into jeering.

He continued: "The Giants are on their way to the Super Bowl."

And the booing got louder.

It was then that the vice president, who is notorious for his gaffes, realized he mixed up the city's baseball team with its football team, which is especially bad timing considering the San Francisco 49ers will play the New York Giants this Sunday in the championship game.

Biden quickly apologized, confessing he was thinking of the San Francisco Giants baseball team, and clarified that he meant to say the "49ers" will go all the way.

This reminds me of when MA Senator John Kerry said his favorite player on the Red Sox was "Manny Ortez"...
