TD BURRESS!! I remember turning to my family as the Giants lined up for that play and saying "Fade to Burress for a TD, just watch."

Totally forgot Peyton going nuts after the TD.

Too many people claiming the Pats have no chance. I'm nervous.

Giants must win. We saw the tremors last night, but if the Pats win the lifelong swell will wash us all away in its wake.

Do not fear, he saves all no matter the faith. Gentiles all over the world will be saved. You must not fear.

Still good.

Edit: God, I forgot how close Moss was to catching that deep ball. Even now I almost had a heart attack watching it.

Niners RB Gore. Great player, great sport. He came into the Giants’ locker room to congratulate his fellow Miami alums as well as C David Baas, his teammate in San Fran the past few years.

Wow, what a class act.

Nothing kills a QB like inside pressure. Against the Ravens, the Pats interior held up great in pass protection. I'm curious if that will happen again. The refs have absolutely swallowed the whistled on offensive holding. Belichick might be telling his guys to hold until the refs stop them.

edit: This isn't some preemptive referee complaining post. I said the same thing in the SF game. The Giants DL was getting held while Alex was getting a decent amount of time to throw his awful passes, while Eli was getting killed. Harbaugh had realized that it was okay to hold, and the Giants hadn't. So I thought the Giants made a mistake by not holding, and then as soon as I posted it, the Giants got called for a hold that Fox never replayed

So if the refs are going to let everything go, it's bad coaching not to instruct your guys to take everything they can get

The op is missing something. Something beautiful. Something magnificent. Something almost supernatural.

I'm not sure if we'll ever see a catch as amazing as that one in such a big game again.

So I locked the win in the no confidence Pickem. I'm #4th in the confidence one though. I guess I just suck at distributing points.

I remember posting before the Championship games that Goodell wanted the NYG/NE matchup and that the refs would lean that way. I was mocked.

And yet, here we are.

I know this has probably been posted at least once, but I'm gonna post it again because I laugh (and cry a lil) every time.

Sure? Maybe? No? What are you saying?

The point was brought up about refs not calling holds, etc. I posted data about holding calls during the playoffs. Interpret those numbers as you choose.

Make sure to take off the tin foil hat before digging to deep into it though.;)

The Giants must be doing a poor job of holding then, since they are doing so obviously ;) Essentially, the refs are only calling pre-snap fouls. I saw a few QBs get driven into the ground, a whole bunch of after the whistle hits. Supposedly BAL was roughing up NEs WRs, but we never get to see the secondary. Somehow BAL didn't commit a single penalty versus Houston .

I really hope the NFL overhauls the officiating in the offseason. Not just a few tweaks. Radical changes

I knew inevitably someone would post a picture or gif of Satan. Damn him and his dark ways and I hope to high heaven that he is no where to be found in Indianapolis and the Giants don't bring him along for guidance. Giants don't need to be corrupted by him.

No. I'm just a new member whose account just got validated.

Oh, I see.

In that case, you should pledge your allegiance to some team.

pro tip: If you pick someone who's won a Super Bowl in the past four years, or the Patriots, you will be considered a lifelong, and you'll have to fight long and hard to shake off that tag.

Imma send a pm to Evi and beg him not to admit new batches of juniors right before the f'in SuperBowl.

Actually, I think he's doing it to punish us. :(

Have you been following these threads at all as a lurker? Just curious.

When the season first started I did.
