The Giants should win the game, they're playing much better.
Damn you. We lose the games we "should" win. WE ARE UNDERDOGS! UNDERDOGS DAMN YOU!

I was reading a stat that the Giants are pretty successful in rematches against teams they have beaten in the regular season though. I hope that holds up on Feb. 5th.

This is all bullshit! How do you not at least look at the Lee Evans catch a second time? Why are we not investigating the Patriots, known cheaters, for having the scoreboard show the wrong down at a crucial instance?

Oh wait, now I sound like a Niners fan. Scratch those complaints. We lost. Period.

The Ravens probably should have won.Not scoring a TD on the kickoff fumble was huge for.

Dan Marino sounded pretty reserved when asked about Green Bay Packers backup quarterback Matt Flynn this week on The Joe Rose Show.

“Some guys are just — I don’t want to say it in a negative light — but sometimes there’s a reason why guys are backups, you know?” Marino said during his weekly WQAM appearance. “I’m not saying he can’t come in here and be a terrific player. Maybe he can be. But he didn’t play somewhere the whole time. He hasn’t had that [experience].”

Well now we HAVE to hire him.

He's coming for you.

On the one hand, I understand what he's saying. On the other hand, it's fucking retarded. You could've said the same thing about Rogers and Favre. It's not like Flynn was going to beat out Rodgers for the GB job.

If Pagano is the hire, what say you, Ravens fans? How was he (in his one year, since Mattison is at Michigan now)?

I'm relieved it's not the Vest.

Yeah, there was a reason Rodgers was behind Favre.

HoFlynn and HarrelloF are suffering the same fate behind that bum Rodgers.

Kind of irks me that so many people give Favre credit for "developing" Rodgers.

Rodgers sat behind Favre for political reasons and because it was the conservative move.

Apparently Rodgers thinks Dolphins will pursue Flynn.

Gimme dem draft picks Fins.

You got it all wrong, we will take A-God off of your hands, give you a second rounder and a conditional 5th that turns into a 4th if he throws for more than 2500 yards (:P). You already have a future HoF-er in Flynn. We couldn't possible afford him!

Is that a deal, yes?

But Favre was a true mentor - he helped develop the permanent chip on Rodgers' shoulder!

No no no.
The Bucs are getting him for Freeman, they can use him as an extra lineman.

Well, the players love him. But with Ravens defensive coaches promoted to head coach, there is always the fact that the defense itself makes the coach looks good. We've had a lot of former defensive coaches become HCs (Rex Ryan, Marvin Lewis, Jack Del Rio, Mike Nolan, Mike Singletary) and they were shit.

So there's a chance Pagano is a good coach, but I wouldn't base it off the quality of our D, which was, honestly, a notch below where it had been during his year as DC.

Turned on the NFL network and they are showing the pro bowl skills competitions from 2006. Let me name some of the supreme talent in the present competition.

Koren Robinson (who just dropped a pass lol)
Shawne Merrimen
Larry Johnson
Cato June

Amazing what happens in 6 years

hahaha, and now Jerome Mathis

Seems like, if you aren't a Quarterback, an Offensive Lineman, a Kicker/Punter, or a member of the Baltimore Raven's Defense, you just don't last that long in the NFL.

He's never been a coordinator.

SUCK MY DICK MOTHERFUCKING PHONE LINES!

I got through to Francessa's SB trivia contest at around 4 PM. The phones system for them fucking DROPPED. I was already queued up and listening to Francessa via the phone. FUCK.

HERE is a list of questions and answers in case anyone needs it and gets through. FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pagano is a really interesting hire for Baltimore. Indy spent years drafting smaller, quicker players to play in their Tampa 2 4-3, but Pagano has most of his experience in a hard-hitting 3-4 with space eaters on the line and big LBs. Pagano does have some experience in the 4-3, but that was at the college level (he spent one year as the DC and DB coach at UNC). I won't profess to know what the defensive alignments were at his previous NFL stops, but it seems like Indy is in for a transitional year or two, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Were you "Frank" ? He was going to put a Frank on earlier and then he dropped the call.

Seems like a great hire.

Even if they keep Manning, the defense has always sucked, so whether it takes 1-2 years for it to come around to a dominant D it should be good in the long run.

Heck yeah!

It's not like the Dolphins were going to use them to draft anyone useful anyway.

Besides Pat White Ireland has done well with the drafts, Pat White was back when Tuna had rule. Don't act like you know us.

I don't want to hear about taking Vontae Davis over Clay Matthews either, our pass rush isn't a problem.

Outside of a few good offensive lineman, I can't remember the last time the Dolphins drafted a true impact player.

Seriously, I'm going back a decade and I'm not seeing a lot that you could make an entire team with. I'll give you that a lot of probably has to do with the fact that the Dolphins are a team that fall into that trap where they win too many games during any given season where they don't make the playoffs.

It was the second worst loss for any team in any sport I follow.

The Giants should win the game, they're playing much better. There's a reason the line went from 4 to 2.5 in a day. It should be basically even.

Sidenote: I laugh at almost all your posts. Not because they're funny really but because I imagine your avatar reading them with his extra creepy voice.

Imagine Eli wearing the WitchKing getup and saying "No man can slay me!" and then Brady rips off his helmet to let his locks flow free and say "I'm no man!!!"

Our problem is we don't have a quarterback or coach, other than that our team is fine. Tons of teams haven't drafted an Aaron Rodgers or Calvin Johnson in awhile. Ronnie Brown was our last one I guess.

That blows....last year I never even got close to getting through.

By the way, this one:

Question: "My most memorable game, uh, is the game is the game we played in the, uh, Super Bowl IX (9). And I say that because the excitement of the Super Bowl, the excitement of the organization never being at the Super Bowl before, and playing a great team like the Minnesota Vikings who was known as the purple people eaters." Listen to the audio file
Answer: ____________ (Lynn Swann? someone on the Pittsburgh Steelers).

It's not Swann, it's Mel Blount.

I was laughing when no one could get the longest run from scrimmage in SB history. I know you'd have gotten that one.

Also, it's ridiculous how much useless sports trivia I have stored in the old noggin'. Frankly I can't wait until after the SB so I can stop checking BBI and GAF so often and actually get work done.

Yep, and yesterday there was a Jet fan who didn't know what player signed with them after having just played in the SB.

Some of those Qs I know from watching football so long and listening to Fattie's contest a couple times over the years, but man, sometimes he pulls some doozies out.

I know that feel, bro.

Minus the whole BBI thing.
