If "Vs Tebows"-Brady shows up that would be pretty cool. 45 points is the minimum the Pats need to put up to have a good shot at winning.

I'm not at all confident about his game.

Tony Dungy coached the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a while, coached them well. The Bucs fired him because they were tired of losing in the playoffs every year. They hired Jon Gruden, who immediately won a Super Bowl, but then the team declined and they fired him, too. They hired Raheem Morris because they wanted some youthful enthusiasm, but then his team showed too much youth and not enough enthusiasm. So they fired him. And then, this week, they hired Rutgers coach Greg Schiano.

I'm sure each of these moves made sense in a vacuum. Seriously. Go stick your head in a vacuum. Then this will all make sense.

Not exactly. I don't want the Giants to lose him because he has been great with them and I also think he would be a bad hire to replace Schiano. He's older than I would prefer, he has been out of the college ranks for quite a while now and he has never been a head coach. As far as I can tell he hasn't even been a coordinator at the college ranks.

But they wanted to fire BA after 09 and were talked out of it by Tomlin and Ben. They made the SB, Arians talked about retiring but Ben talked him out of it and so they only offered him a one year contract. They didn't offer him one this year. Not necessarily a firing, but a "thanks, we'll see you now."

As for Cowher, he won a huge power struggle between he and GM Tom Donahoe back in 99 that resulted in the Steelers saying bye bye Tom. Cowher went on to get the Steelers back to the playoffs and the SB while Tom went on to run the Bills into the ground. I do think Cowher had much more pull within the Steeler organization than Tomlin does.

As for what Art II wants from the offense, it's simple. More points, fewer sacks.

Yeah, from what i've read, they were never going to renew his contract anyway since Arians has been talking about retirement for years.

Also, Jim Wexell says the final call was Tomlin's and apparently he pulled the trigger on not moving forward.

Ben's "complaining" is also being blown way out of proportion.

He's a much better choice than Sherman or Childress. Being that he was the DC at The U I have seen quite a bit of him. He;s a very good DC. Better than Butch Davis. But whether you get the coach you wanted or a name coach doesnt matter. But you have to be able to look at a coach and say, yes I can see this guy coaching us on the sidelines of a Super Bowl. I've never seen that when I look at Schiano.
