NFL Super Bowl XLVI |OT| Matchup More Unwanted Than Madonna's Halftime Show

The Chargers received the Giants 3rd Round pick in 2004 along with the next years first round pick and fifth round pick. The Chargers wanted Osi with the deal, but Acorsi absolutely refused and threw in the fifth to seal the deal.
Thanks for clearing it up.

Well lots of people (at least two mocks I've read) think the Rams will get CLE's two picks, which I think is a dream. But I can't see CLE going another year w/o addressing QB, and Tannehill is not going to be there for their 2nd first rounder. So maybe CLE works something out

The Rams need help NOW. I'm not really interested in deferred picks. I think CLE almost lost a year (after losing a year w/ Mangini) by giving up their first last year.

And if the Rams draft defense there will be a riot. I'll join snesfreak out on the ledge if they don't address offense. Now, if they plug a bunch of holes in FA, then maybe. But they paid Bradford all that money and watched he and his two backups get pasted. They have to fix the OL.

Wait, didn't Cleveland keep their first round pick, pretty sure they did. They received two picks in 2011 to trade down to 27. With the 27th pick they took Taylor, and then used their extra 2nd to take Little.

From my perspective, I didn't think the height difference between the two was that drastic. Now if we're talking size, it's not even close. Luck was built like a tank, and RG still had the frame of a HS kid. Luck looked massive sitting next to RG.

Earlier in the year Fitzpatrick took a shot from London Fletcher, absolute kill shot. If RG took that kind of hit he wouldve been KO'd, multiple broken ribs.

That's gotta be one of the most disappointing careers ever.

White was drafted by the Miami Dolphins with the 44th overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft. White was waived by Miami on September 4, 2010.

White was signed by the Virginia Destroyers of the United Football League on June 28, 2011. He was cut on September 3, 2011.

White was selected by the Anaheim Angels in the 4th round of the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft. He was offered a six-figure signing bonus, but declined in order to attend West Virginia.

After he was waived by the Dolphins, White signed a minor league contract with the Kansas City Royals on September 10, 2010. He participated in the Fall instructional league.

Prior to the 2011 season, White announced his retirement.

Holy shit he retired, :jnc.

I blame Ike Taylor.

I remember thinking "He's dead." when I saw that live.

Just watched it again. Shouldn't really be a flag (according to how I want the rule to be). If you look closely 94 trips him just before the hit causing White's head to suddenly be much lower than it was. Dirty ass Ike Taylor wasn't headhunting that time.

Caught some Paul Allen, who is sort of the voice of Vikings radio from what I understand. He seems to think that Denver might trade up (to the Vikings pick) to go after RG3. What do you guys think it would take for Denver to get to this spot?

I was talking about the pick that was Julio. I'm not sure what they got in return. But it would have been better, imo, to take him than trade down. Their offense had nothing all year, and it wasn't just on McCoy. Even if they draft RG3, he won't have anyone to throw to. The Rams have similar problems, but their line is such a disaster, they have to address it before WR imo

That's what I thought you meant, but I wasn't 100 percent sure.

I don't know if I would've traded that far down either, but I think the Browns did pretty well in the draft. You can build around Sheard and Taylor. They'll get an impact player at 4 and can add another weapon in the twenties, or bolster the OL. I think the running back class is loaded and they can get a good one at the top of the second. I think they're set up pretty good, and that trade landed them an extra player in the top 60 in back to back years.

Not a fan of McCoy, never was, he stinks. I recall the Steelers game, receivers open on deep posts, wide open, and he's just staring down one receiver...int. Processes information at a snails pace.

Does Holmgren have enough goodwill with the Pack that he could try and scoop Flynn? He's obviously got the draft picks if he wants to cut and run on McCoy.

Will Elway Tebail?

From the sounds of it, Elway wants a full-fledged QB competition. I heard second hand (although it was Elway saying this on the radio) that he is going to bring in two more QBs besides Tebow. Tebow is only considered the starter in training camp, so he can be supplanted.

I really don't want all the controversy again this year, and I would love to see us make other choices with our picks. Even so, if Elway makes a move for RG3 I'll trust that he has the best interests of the Broncos in mind.

Paul Allen is not "sort of the voice." He's a God damned legend. And if you ever have the privilege to speak His name again, you'll show some fucking respect. This ain't Detroit, man.

Now, to your question: I'd say the Dolphins, Broncos, Seahawks, Raiders and Browns are good candidates.

Saw this at my local Safeway in the Superbowl display. Rams, Panthers and Browns? Really? Also looks like a shitty shop job

Why the fuck are the Ravens keeping Cam Cameron? Continuity? Fuck that. That asshole cost us games this year, is generally reviled, and should have been gone gone. My only rationale can be that instead of being done with Flacco, they're keeping Cameron as a patsie. So when Flacco fails again next year, they can fire Cameron, and say it'll be fixed. Then the year after, when Flacco sucks, they can say, he's learning a new offense. Then when he sucks after that, they'll acknowledge he sucks, cut ties, and oh yeah, that's 4 years into the future with no championship.

FUCK YOU FLACCO!!!!

get over it. Flacco will be here for another at least 4 year now matter how much you hate him. I hate a love hate with Flacco as well but you have to realize running a Off from the 60's That asks the Oline to protect way to long taking deep shot almost every play. Cam need to go I agree but we also need a QB coach that will help Joe's Development. The further Cam is away from Joe the better off we are. I hope Hue comes back to help Joe Develop.

But if i was Joe I would walk.

Hey I'm new to this area! I know that he is the "voice" in terms of their broadcasts, I didn't know it ran that deep. I apologize! He's definitely an awesome radio personality.

Russell Wilson was 5'10.5" and that alone has him way down.

It shouldn't. He had the Tallest Offensive line in the NCAA, and if I recall, their size was taller across the board than any line in the NFL. If a team uses the "He's too short" it's just a dumb excuse because it's already been proven that he isn't.

Even I like Paul Allen.

If anything I was told that his show used to be even better when Dubay was on there, prior to a drug bust. Lots of vikings fans over here in North Dakota.

Dubay was a certifiable crack head. And then he literally got busted for crack. Paul Allen is a huge homer, which is his appeal, who starts off every radio show sort of moderate/realistic on most issues but by the time his show is over his emotions have gotten the better of him and he's in full on cheerleader mode. Dubay started every show at Homer Volume 11, and it used to drag PA down that road even faster. It was a blast.

Even better is the guy who comes on right after PA, and does the complete opposite! He's a total gloom and doom guy. Most days he doesn't even both to write material for his show, he listens to PA's show and then makes fun of it for 2 hours after it's done. Funny as hell.

I'm definitely going to tune in more. I usually listen to Denver radio through a stream, but I like Allen and now I'll have to catch the other guy.

I'm just popping to say that a HS friend of mine is gonna be in his 2nd Super Bowl

Dave Toleffson
#71 NY Giants

He joined the team back in 2007. That's the same year they last went to the Superbowl and it was also against the Patriots.

Looks like Denver hired Jack Del Rio as defensive coordinator! Looks good to me. Hopefully we can get some of that 2002 Panther magic in Denver.

Just saw it, and agreed.

Definitely takes the sting out of losing Allen. If we can patch some holes with the draft, and Tebow improves, we might have a playoff team again. Especially in the West.

You're hoping to go 7-9 next season?

Hahahaha, for some reason I thought it was the 2002 team that made it to the SB. Nevermind then. I dun goofed. Should have looked it up first.

JoJo has evolved into a beast under Wade.

Appreciate it RT @ProFootbalFocus: just a reminder, only 1 offensive tackle played 250+ snaps in pass protection & didnt give up a sack - take a bow Duane Brown of the Texans

DAMN! guy just mauls people on the O line and broke James Harrisons face!

Yeah, Brown was great this year. Knew the number of sacks allowed was low, but not 0. Nice.

Also, wtf kind of organization is being run in Indy? How does it manage to devolve into public complaining about Manning? Pretty crazy.

Manning to Texans to rub it in Irsays face twice a year.
