RT @NotoriousOHM: LB Jacquian Williams has shed the walking boot. Says he plans to go through practice tomorrow, even if it may be limited.
Nice! Williams doesn't have the name power of Gronk and he's a rookie but he's been essential (along with Boley) to the Giants defense and specifically covering those middle of the field routes that killed us earlier in the season. Major loss if he would have had to sit out.

Oh and this ones for you Baconsammy:

Does Brandon Jacobs feel like Giants are underdogs? "Absolutely not. We don't feel like we're the underdog. That's Vegas."

Brandon Jacobs is pretty much the stupidest person on any team in the NFL. He should be worried about whether his helmet will be in the stands after the game.

Damn that sucks for him. That has to be such a shitty way to have a career end. I wonder how long until he shows up as a coach.

While none of us are doctors (that I know of), the general consensus here on GAF was that 1, nerves don't grow back and 2, why would you ever want to risk taking a blindside shot from a 300 lb. DE coming off the edge when you've got fused vertebrae in your neck.

I think he's done. It sucks because he's an amazing QB to watch. He can definitely coach, because he's basically been the OC for the Colts (if not the HC). But the guy has to consider the next 40 years of his life and whether he wants to spend them in a wheelchair.

Sanders ask Brady how's Gronk and he had this evil little smirk, BB is playing his mind games again the Giants better expect a 110% Gronk....

he was jumping up and down after the championship game was over, I'm sure he'll be fine enough.

The Pats are the best at hiding injuries.

No one will be surprised of Gronk's STDs caused the leg to fall off or if he is sprinting down the sidelines and catches 4 TDs.

Looks like he will keep playing, no talk on his future at Indianapolis until the SB is over.

Peyton Manning, speaking at length for the first time since the 2011 season ended, told ESPN on Tuesday that he plans to return to football, but he and Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay have not discussed his future.

Manning, in an interview with ESPN's Trey Wingo, said that he and Irsay will discuss whether the Super Bowl-winning quarterback will remain with the Colts "at the appropriate time, and when we do, I think some decisions will be made after that. But until then I'm just continuing to rehab, work hard, and to enjoy this week because it really is a special week for the city and certainly for my family."

I doubt Manning would simply go to the highest bidder anyway, assuming he's a free agent in this scenario.

Somehow Sapp and Faulk turned Gronkowski's statement that he's "day to day" as a sign that he's worse than everyone thinks and he might not play. NFL Network only hires the best.

Best exchange was reporter asking Manningham if Edelmen can cover Cruz. Manningham said, "Do you think Edelmen can cover Cruz?" Reporter said no, and Manningham ends the exchange with, "There ya go."

It's fascinating to me to hear Jets fans actually conflicted about this. There's just no way in hell I would ever root for a division rival...EVER. Like NEVER.

First priority when the playoffs start if a rival has made it - I want to see them eliminated. Immediately. Everything else is of secondary concern. Especially if the Giants aren't in the tournament.

I'd love a video of this. I watched some of the media stuff out of curiosity and it's all about as useless as the probowl. Some really ridiculous stuff being asked. One reporter asked Coughlin "Who do you think will win?" Really?

You don't have to root for a team
Against a division rival though? Maybe the hate is stronger in the East but I'll actively root for any team playing an NFC East opponent in the big game (or hell, any game!). Especially if its the Eagles...

Yeah more a generalized comment. Have had WFAN on in the background all day and it's kind of amazing to hear the number of Jets fans who are actively rooting for the Pats...

Glazers would love to see him play at Old Tafford.

What I really don't get about it is that it was Rex that started the Big Brother/Little Brother angle to begin with. Oh well.

Hey we don't know what happend in that bathroom in Milledgeville. Maybe Ben and the young lady were just playing a friendly game of Scrabble.

When she talked about his "grey penis" she only referred to his winning words in the game?

I don't know. I see Nike as a company that would want to differentiate themselves from the competition. Reebok's jerseys are so old looking now, I hope Nike pumps out some awesome stuff.
The league put out a big advisory about alternative uniforms. They're going to cut down on alternates even more starting next year.

The league values its branding too much to let every team change their uniforms willy nilly. NFL franchises aren't second class college teams that will do anything to interest teenage boys.
Well we got the gloves, now here's the new cleats from Nike:

Oh, Phil! You shouldn't have.
