Got my hours cut so only working till 6 today. Gonna watch with my old man. He's got some good beers waiting for me and Mom's hooking up the rice, beans and porckchops.

What's with the media all bashing the Pats defense?

Because after meeting only 6 times of the Patriots first 30 years, these teams now face each other for the 5th time in the last 9 years with two coming in the SB. Well, that and because the Texans didn't have Schoob and got Flaccoized.

Pats have one big name on defense. Giants have many. It's easier to praise the Giants. Doesn't help that the Pats D was so decimated that they needed to guys from the offense to play on it.

"I really didn't think that was the kind of football that we want to be demonstrating for our fans," Goodell said. "And you heard it from the fans. The fans were actively booing in the stands. They didn't like what they were seeing."

Goodell said something has to change.

"We're either going to have to improve the quality of what we're doing in the Pro Bowl or consider other changes or even considering eliminating the game if that's the kind of quality game we're going to provide," Goodell said.

He's wrong about one thing, though. The fans weren't booing the effort, they were booing Cam Newton.

Wilfork isn't the only guy holding teams to almost 100 less points this season. They gave up yards (less than Green Bay), but I don't remember a team winning a game 500 yards to 400.

I just think it's stupid how people can say that the Pats would be the worst team to win the Super Bowl when they were the first seed (with an admittedly weak schedule). The Giants have had a great run to get here, but the Pats have won 10 in a row.

The Giants have a strong team, stronger now than ever this season, but that doesn't mean the Pats are bad. With Volmer back, I like the OL to shut down the Giants DL.

And when was the last time the Patriots lost when Brady had a good game?

I feel the same way and I will tell you why. It's the matchup. 2 teams with multiple SB wins (and fairly recently ones at that) one of which is arguably one of the most despised teams by most real football fans.

This is probably the most meh I've been about a Superbowl in a long time.

Rodgers suggested a larger pay gap between the winner and loser. I say make it $50,000 for the winner, nothing for the losers. He said that players start to play a lot harder in the 4th quarter once they realize a pay check is on the line, but that by then it's already become a disgrace.

Also, lol at that being Cam giving an effort.
 
Cuevas said he was, it's usually Livewires gig too so one of those tools can handle it.

I need to take in that rough divisional loss so I can make a run in 2012.
