Screw Eli Manning, coming out on the field acting like you freaking won it all, you didn't inferior Manning. Tom brady had a way suckier D, no gronker, no power backs, slower recievers, and guess what? He still made it a tight game. Your still not elite, your just on an elite team

28. Green Bay Packers- Fletcher Cox DT- Letting Cullen Jenkins Go was a mistake
The pick makes all the sense in the world, but too many fans say stupid shit like this. They didn't "let him go." He signed elsewhere.

23. Detroit Lions-Mike Adams LT- Jeff Backus will be a FA time to get younger (Maybe Ogden 2.0)

24. Pittsburgh Steelers- Donta Hightower MLB-Foote is likely done and Donta is a smart MLB Perfect for the steelers D

If Hightower is there I can't possibly see Detroit passing on him, especially with Tulloch being a free agent.

Eh, this was nowhere hear as bad as that loss. The Giants were the better team this time around. Can't really compare it to the biggest choke in the history of American sports.

At least they lost in the neutral ground in the super bowl.. I mean unlike the other record breaking team.

Yeah, so I'm just gonna repost a post I made last night. Keep the salt coming, y'all, it's fantastic.

Hi Gaf.

He owns your soul, Bellichick.

Hi Tom. Nice career*

*Eli

I love this team. I love Tom Coughlin. I love Manningham for getting his damn feet in. I feel so damn good. I've seen 5 Yankee chips and now 2 Giant ones. I'm so proud of how this team bounded together after that loss to Washington. Tuck you gorgeous mother fucker. Osi, thank you for being a professional after all that contract nonsense you went through. Thank you Victor Cruz, you salsaing mother fucker, for all the amazing plays you've made this year. Thank you, Giants-Gaf for being humble in victory and defeat.

I was at a party with some very close friends tonight and this was my first chip with these guys and it was so special. I wished I could have been posting during the game, I was so nervous and just though Brady was gonna get it in tonight. Dude just had the crazy eye.

All I wanted was for Eli to get the ball with a chance to win. Not a win, just a chance to win.

Thank you Eli. Thank you Tom Coughlin. Thank you GAF.

Regarding that other Super Bowl thread, if you don't get sports-GAF, that's fine. Just stay the out our way and let us enjoy what we enjoy. We love this shit. No one is asking you to get it.

Frank, I wish you were in here bro!

Giants got lucky with those fumbles. And that safety call. I can't remember the last time a safety was called like that.

ahahahaha yeah no Eli got done for intentional grounding for a safety against the Falcons, first week of the playoffs.
Falcons' only two points of the match haha

Manning's throw to Mario Manningham was an amazing pass.

ALL SEASON BABY. WHO'S SAYING HE ISN'T AN ELITE LEVEL QB NOW HUH?

Fuck you everyone who said he isn't an elite level qb fuck you who even say "he's not the top tier, but he's in the second top tier" fuck you because SUPER BOWL MVP BABY OH DO YOU STILL WANT TO SAY HE ISN'T ELITE? He could put that ball on a fucking penny if he wanted to.

I watched this in a bar with 25 Pats fans, and I was one of the 4 giants fans. Holy fuck it felt so so so good. I nearly died when Bradshaw toppled across the line.

No. Missing the playoffs is not even close to the same level as being the only team to lose after going up 3-0. It is the very definition of choking.

Redsox collapse made the Dream Team's failure look like a good season.

Also we should start posting gifs of the Season

Also, watching this game reminded me that the only think I really hate about the patriots is belichick. fuck him and everything about him. brady and kraft and everyone else is fine but ugh get rid of belichick already
also, your defence is rubbish

Looking at that gif again it looks like Welker was going toward the middle of the field but Brady throws away from there because of the safety. Tough to adjust but if you can get both hands on the ball, then it is a drop.

9-0 run right through the playoffs bu-bu-bu the Giants were lucky! Same shit was said in 2008, Giants got all the breaks. No matter though, shit feeels good.

hahahahahha. it's always luck when someone beats the pats. was brady not himself this game again? ahahahahahhaah

ahahahahha

ahahahhahaha
hahhahahhahhaa
hahah

Please don't become the new fanbase I start to hate. The Giants were lucky. Fumble recoveries are random. It is not a skill. The Giants fumbled twice but were lucky to recover both. The Patriots recover just one and who knows how things change?

Same with the dropped INTs vs SF. You need luck to win a SB. You also have to be good.

And as much fun as it is to make fun of the Pats, Belichick did an amazing job. He clearly had the inferior team, and made the right move every time to help his team almost steal it. For the rest of eternity, NFL coaches now know to always defer. No pass rush and a shaky secondary made the Giants work for everything. Brady doesn't Romo that ball to Welker, they recover just one of those fumbles, and jerks like me have to stop with the * and give him his proper due.

Coughlin is now a HoF coach, but there was a lot of wtf? coming from his sideline. Why so much trouble with the playcalls on time? Why was Bradshaw not properly prepared to not score that TD? Unforced errors by he and his coaches. His superior roster talent was the reason he won.

Agree that luck is a factor but way too many people try to use this as an argument to marginalize a win (9 wins at that! So much luck!)

Automatic field goals aren't automatic. See: Cundiff. Only Eli told Bradshaw to stop at the 1. The coaches trusted their defense should they score with time on the board.

Even though outside of the Packers offense (and I am pretty sure 11 men does not make a team) there were not really any good teams this year I am still happy that Eli won it this year. He was really the best qb IMHO this season. At times he was getting it done seemingly almost singlehandedly. I was a little surprised that a 4 seed won it all. This bucks the trend of the unstoppable 5 and 6 seeds but it does continue the trend that the winner will be chosen on wildcard weekend!

I won't be surprised if the Giants don't even make the playoffs next year but I am pretty sure Giant fans will be alright with that after getting another ring.

Congrats Giants.

And Pat fans if this isn't the sign you needed that Brady is a messenger of evil then I don't know what else can be said. I urge you all to turn in your Patriot cards (good since February 2002!) and urge Kraft Cheese to institute a new regime. One built on honesty, high draft picks and a franchise qb with an actual penis.

It was like you could see the internal conflict he was struggling with as he fell backwards into the end zone. I don't think I'd have ever forgiven myself if I had a chance to score the go ahead TD in the Super Bowl and I decided to put it in the hands of a kicker instead.

How would you live with yourself if he shanked it?

I don't get the Brady hate. He comes off as a really nice guy in all his interviews and stuff. I think it's more because of Belichick. The black hole of hate that engulfs Belichick kind of trickles down to Brady and the rest of the Patriots. Brady is a nice person. He's down to Earth and just a good person. I'm not a Pats fan.

How anyone can hate on Brady after this http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=dw-wetzel_tom_brady_super_bowl_gisele_bundchen_defeat_020512 I dunno

I know it's a troll but seriously? Brady couldn't come off being a nicer guy. This Lord of Evil stuff is pure BS. I've watched him for years, seen countless interviews and spotlight, the guy is a nice guy. How can anyone hate him is beyond me...

He said in an interview that as he got the handoff Eli yelled "DON'T SCORE" and it took him a second to realize what he was suggesting. Too late. Really the sidelines and Eli's fault for that play.

Id rather give Brady 20 seconds, 0 timeouts for a FG than 58 seconds 1 timeout for a TD.

Thought the same thing as it happened (regular season Green Bay flashbacks). I actually had to school the Pats fans around me who were already throwing in the towel by telling them his nickname in college was "The Comeback Kid". Don't rule Brady out. Hell, in the pre-game interview Brady said he'd rather have the ball for the last game winning drive.
