I think the eventual goal is to have the PS Suite on here as well, so whatever shows up on there should be playable on Vita too.
Yes, PS Suite and probably those widgets/apps on Sony Entertainment Network.

How is VC 2 ? I really liked VC 1 and was pretty mad that VC 2 went to PSP.
Can you leave WipeOut "suspended" on Vita and turn it off ? Next time you resume play, it should be instant ?
Confirmed or speculation? I guess I'll just get the physical copy. 10% off is only a few dollars especially considering ordering from amazon = no taxes.
The load times on Wipeout or the memory card? Because I've seen the Wipeout load times for myself.
All the protective armors posted here are awful.
Just get a pouch and take care of your Vita.

Game + every race.Is the load time for loading every race (and vehicles), or just booting up the game and loading the race ?

I haven't played it but friends have said it's good, but VC1 is better. To be honest it's one of the biggest reasons I'm getting a Vita. I figure good games will come out eventually for it and I can finally play VCII.
VC1 is one of my favorite games of all times.
Really? I think it's pretty long as well...Loading the race. Starting up the game is actually pretty quick.

Might be a silly question but is there anything to do if you don't have games? Like is there some kind of app store or a system where the community can make apps and various things and put it on the Vita. I'm getting this eventually but I just want to know in case I can't afford a lot of games.
Probably same characters as the PS3, since the crossplay option will be there, but the release date is TBA.SF X T on Vita supposed to have all the same characters and launch the same day as the console version?
You can download it all directly to the Vita.Question: will Vita have its own app for the psn store where i can download all my previous purchases or will i have to connect to a ps3?
Any reports of gamestops starting to sell the games tomorrow?
It's going to support "Free to Play" games (which usually start free but can cost more than retail in the end), but I wouldn't expect anything like the iOS/Android app stores where you have lots of super cheap/free games as deals.
Maybe when the Playstation Suite stuff comes out, but Sony hasn't said much more on that...
Yes, VC2 is part of the reasons I'm getting a Vita as well. Figured it would play better than on PSP because of the dual sticks (like PS3 !)
You map the d-pad/face buttons to the right stick. You can do it for all PSP games. How does that work? If the PSP didn't have dual sticks, how would VCII be compatible with dual?
Also, this reminds me of how much I want this:
Valkyria Chronicles artbook
Sure hope it's good. It's my launch game. It's street dated and everything, but have they even shown a box art?
The Vita allows you to map the digital inputs from the PSP's face buttons or D-Pad to the Vita's right analog stick. How does that work? If the PSP didn't have dual sticks, how would VCII be compatible with dual?
1 week out and Sony is being so quiet...

So, what case is everyone getting? I'm trying to nail down my decision.

I know its already shipping from PDP and Gamestop. I hope someone gets an unboxing/impressions video up.

See I really like this one. I wonder how easy it would be to make a custom design for the cover slot though.
I'm really curious as to whether Unit 13 is native res or not. I haven't heard anything in the matter. I'd just like knowing that a native res somewhat graphics-intensive non-racer can even be done.

What happened to this kid?
I'm pretty sure native res games are possible, and will come, but these are all launch games that were probably put together pretty quickly Just look at PS3 games at the beginning of its life cycle and compare them to now.
i am so weak i just got the Canadian FEB knowing full well i will never play Little Deviants and will discard the 4gb card ASAP![]()
I dont even know if the case is any good. I just wanted it 1 week early and wanted to taked advantage of the EB games deal.
I'm in the same position, but I can say that the case is pretty nice. What strikes me as strange is that the normal 3G bundle for $299.99 is a better deal (with an 8GB stick, $15 psn voucher, and some 3G data time) than the FED. After a few weeks, getting it a week early won't matter much, but 50 bucks isn't ridiculous.
