Be mad no more. I believe it's 20 on the US PSN. I looked the other day and skimmed real fast without really reading everything though. Was on media go and have spent little time with that app so I need to get more familiar with the layout.
The load times on Wipeout or the memory card? Because I've seen the Wipeout load times for myself.
Is the load time just for loading every race (and vehicles), or booting up the entire game and loading the race ?

That's what I thought...and why I had to buy 2 replacement PSPs, until finally I wised up and bought a protective case (the Logitech one, which there doesn't seem to be a Vita version of yet, sadly).

I haven't played it but friends have said it's good, but VC1 is better. To be honest it's one of the biggest reasons I'm getting a Vita. I figure good games will come out eventually for it and I can finally play VCII.
VC1 is one of my favorite games of all times.
Loading the race. Starting up the game is actually pretty quick.
Story and characters in VC2 pal in comparison to VC but the gameplay is awesome. I love the hell out of both games,

Yes, VC2 is part of the reasons I'm getting a Vita as well. Figured it would play better than on PSP because of the dual sticks (like PS3 !)

It's going to support "Free to Play" games (which usually start free but can cost more than retail in the end), but I wouldn't expect anything like the iOS/Android app stores where you have lots of super cheap/free games as deals.
Maybe when the Playstation Suite stuff comes out, but Sony hasn't said much more on that...

Any reports of gamestops starting to sell the games tomorrow?
Probably same characters as the PS3, since the crossplay option will be there, but the release date is TBA.

They've been selling them since Friday in Toronto.
Since PSN is part of SEN now, you can take a look at www.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com to see the available widgets/apps. Some of them have already made it to PS3. Hoping to see them on Vita as well ! (I'm subscribed to Hulu Plus for example).

How does that work? If the PSP didn't have dual sticks, how would VCII be compatible with dual?

The Vita allows you to map the digital inputs from the PSP's face buttons or D-Pad to the Vita's right analog stick.
It's all over Gamestops if that helps any.

So, what case is everyone getting? I'm trying to nail down my decision.
Like someone else said, the story and the characters are a far cry from Valkyria Chronicles. There also isn't a huge variety of maps so expect to see the same locations frequently. But the game has tons of missions (some of the main missions are really annoying) and I played VC2 for much longer than I played VC1. Overall, I'd rate it an 8.

See I really like this one. I wonder how easy it would be to make a custom design for the cover slot though.
Logitech had a similar case for the PSP and they eventually released a template for it so people could make their own designs. I wonder if PDP will do the same

I'm pretty sure native res games are possible, and will come, but these are all launch games that were probably put together pretty quickly Just look at PS3 games at the beginning of its life cycle and compare them to now.

VC2 is an amazing game with just one down side. A certain character's laughter. You will know what I mean once you start playing it. But you can't go wrong with the game, it was a lot of fun. Don't expect as deep of a story as the first tho
He failed horribly.
Of course it's possible to have native res games. Still, it's dissapointing to know the flagship titles are not. But i'm sure they will look better in motion on the screen itself. About the PS3 launch titles, pretty sure most if not all of them were native 720p and a couple of them even 1080p.

i am so weak i just got the Canadian FEB knowing full well i will never play Little Deviants and will discard the 4gb card ASAP 
I dont even know if the case is any good. I just wanted it 1 week early and wanted to taked advantage of the EB games deal.

I'm in the same position, but I can say that the case is pretty nice. What strikes me as strange is that the normal 3G bundle for $299.99 is a better deal (with an 8GB stick, $15 psn voucher, and some 3G data time) than the FED. After a few weeks, getting it a week early won't matter much, but 50 bucks isn't ridiculous.
FED you still get the $15 PSN voucher and 3g DATA plan iirc.
Those 2 are for the 3g units.
oh forgot you are in Canada.
