Years of experience dealing with Amazon. Until recently they actually listed on the page what time you needed to order it by in order to get it next day, but in the past month they stopped listing that. Not sure why.

Ok, well, I guess I can stop looking at my Amazon account to see if the status changed until tomorrow mid-day

just some quick simple questions, i feel like i know the answers but i want to double check

the account manager app is free right? and does it work for Macs yet? So basically i can store my PSN games on my comp and just switch them when i run out of room since i have a 4gb (well unless they change the FEB)

also when i do buy a bigger card i can still have my PSN account on that one as well and transfer my game saves to it, correct?

Also Fifa or Virtual Tennis lol

Just got back from pre-ordering my WiFi model from Gamestop. Traded in my PSP Go and some games, and immediately applied it all to the price of the system. They said they're holding a midnight launch, which I hope is true. Traveling early on the 22nd, and would love to have my new Vita to take along.

I'm wondering if the rumored Toys 'R Us deal is a $20 card for each $50 spent. if that's the case, I'd go buy a 32GB card from them, as it would essentially make it the same price as 16GB card. I'll probably grab a few games and a case as well, so I could add up some gift cards fast.

just realized that FIFA is a launch game. Sorry if this has been asked before but has it been confirmed that we can transfer our Virtual Pro from PS3 to Vita and vice versa? Ive heard a rumor about this last year but nothing concrete came out after that.

I haven't heard anything about this, but it'd be awesome if true!

I know this has been discussed before, so I'm very sorry for asking again.

To change regions I need to reset the memory card and the Vita, so I have to log into my US/JP account and re-install everything, correct? Everything is wiped clean, even settings and whatnot. Also, If I get another memory card I just need to reset the Vita and switch the cards?

I plan on playing all the JP demos first, especially GD, then once I get tired of them I'll switch to my US account and finally start playing retail games using it.

No. The PS3 Fifa 12 engine was not complete by the time they needed one for the Vita version so the games are actually slightly different. As a result there is no cross play. They have said they are looking at it for the next iteration. I think they know that cross platform play could do very well in Europe if nowhere else.

yes, yes, yes, yes, Fifa.

In my opinion.

So... what is the deal with remote play? Has anyone gotten any games to actually work yet?

Nothing new works. Only stuff that already worked on the PSP. Every PS1 game, some PS3 games but only a handful.

Does anyone know whether all PSN downloads will have Psn plus Benefits? And if not, is there already known which games might be cheaper with PSN plus? Starting a digital vita game collection seems like a good time to start with PSplus.

No concrete plans yet, but that would be awesome.

Sumioni is so ugly and has bad animation to me. Yeargh.

I have a feeling the Super Stardust Delta folks (Housemarque!) will see more revenue then the average $40 PSN title. And I hope that delivers a message to all of the developers.

At $10, I don't have to think long and hard if I want it or not.

Since they didn't even allow 11 to 12 transfer, I somewhat doubt that. Also be aware that it doesn't have tactical defending apparently.

ah, I see, thanks! Hopefully, we can get this feature on 13, one of the reasons why I didn't pick up 12 was because I couldn't transfer my Virtual Pro. About tactical defending, I have mixed feelings with it so it doesn't matter if its in the game or not

Also Fifa or Virtual Tennis lol Personally, I'm waiting for Fifa 13, as it will most likely have cross play. Also, am getting Virtua Tennis on day 1.

I'm guessing it's only "over' $50 and not "every" $50.

Yes, but Uncharted: Golden Abyss requires a memory card to play at all.

If they are playing a press kit or FEB I think the 4 GB card is automatically in the system, so they probably don't realize it's in there.

Now I really want to get FEB, if I can sell those in that price at amazon

Heh, same here, especially since I'm already planning on upgrading to the 3G model. After selling the 4gb card and Little Deviants, I'd only be dropping about $20 extra to have it a week early. I know better, but fuck man, I could have my Vita the day after tomorrow. It's hard to resist the temptation.

No. Still surprised by the scores though.

That's fair then. The first time I played Lumines on the PSP I lost track of time and was tripping from the game. It was like 6 hours later when I realized I was still playing the game.

The guy on the left said that, and he seems a little uninformed on the system.

im just not really into soccer and i thought this would be a good time to start since it does like pretty good but after seeing the mini games for VT i can see myself putting a lot of time into those, they looked really enjoyable.

Ive only played fifa with friends and i wasnt the best at it but i dont know how much depth there is in VT either lol

Shane on GT is saying that Golden Abyss lacks any of the big action setpieces of the console games.

Isn't that what Uncharted is?

Disappointon.

Sell me your case and you'll actually save money on the deal!

Yeah they do.

pretty sure "free' Stardust requires at least 1 month of paid data plan.

So I guess technically Launch 3G bundles don't actually get free stardust either

Pay $15 for 1 month 3G
Stardust = free
(+ DLC = $7)

So Stardust + 1 month paid 3G + Stardust DLC = $22

or:

just get Stardust bundle (w/DLC) for $15

Well, that's actually not quite true. You could get stardust bundle with dlc for 15, or you can get stardust with dlc with two months of 3g for $15 (the price of one month. it comes with a free month with the activation of one paid month, and the stardust game comes with the dlc in the 3g models)

I thought the "free" Stardust offer included the DLC. So if you activate for a month you get the month of 3G data, Stardust, and the DLC for Stardust.

Edit: Beaten

Activating 3g gets you ssd and the dlc, I think. You also get an extra month of 3g for free after the first paid month. Basically, you pay 15 bucks for 2 months 3g and ssd and the blaster pack.

At what time does the PSN store gets updated usually on Tuesdays ? Can't wait for the next batch of Vita games.

There is no "usually" if you're talking about the North American store. It's so random. "Grace Chen Time" is a running joke.
I think it's more often later in the evening than not.
