There is no way in hell that's actually Tebow's gf is there?

when the hornets get the top pick in the first year of the tank stern is gonna go down as the best gm of all time

some teams been tanking for years with nothin to show for it

How the fuck was the Lakers offer worse than what NOH actually got?

Eric Gordon is better than any of the players they got in that other deal, when healthy. And since he got injured, that means they can tank for a better pick, and resign him for less money since he's injury-prone. The Lakers trade was absolutely awful for a rebuilding team.

Stern never said he wanted to rebuild a team. He said he wanted a team that had players that attracted a crowd for possible 2 or 3 suitors to buy the hornets.
And apparently he thought Gordon would be the Guy to do it.

They should take Jerry west off the nba logo and put Jeremy Lin with a deflated basketball and a cigar with "practice" in quotations

Metta WorldPeace@MettaWorldPeace

Staples center got Jeremy Lin mascots for clipper and laker games...

Metta WorldPeace@MettaWorldPeace

I think Jeremy Lin tells amare to chill and rebound and amare says"please just one shot" joke

Metta WorldPeace@MettaWorldPeace

I think Jeremy Lin is the best point guard in the YMCA and top ten in the nba..

Happy valentines day.. Come to my Jeremy Lin dedication party in LA this weekend!,, it's going to be bananas.. Too bad he can't make it!,

I am ready for Shumpert and/or Lin to get SG eligibility...

Also, that Big Baby signing sure is looking like a waste -- 35% from the field on the season after a 1/10 night. Otis is such a joke of a GM.

According to Forbes, Lin is the fastest-growing athlete brand in the world — worth an estimated $14 million, tied with Kobe Bryant for sixth-best. Since Feb. 4, MSG’s stock price has increased 6 percent, adding $139 million to the company’s market value.

That sounds fucking awesome compared to the deal they ended up taking.

So we end up staying a middling team with bad contracts, aging players - never bad enough to fully rebuild - but never good enough to attract good FA or compete for anything other than a possible 8 seed.

Yeah that sounds awesome!

I know where we went wrong.

We never used any kanji characters for Donnie's plan, y'all.

Grantland Jeremy Lin said:
5:25 — Lin has his first black hole moment when he can't quite shake Derek Fisher. On this possession, Fisher set up on Lin's right and dared him to cross over back left. Lin stubbornly spun to his right, trying to get an angle to the basket. So here's a dirty little secret: Lin can't go left. When he gets trapped going right, he tends to spin and then go right again. This is pretty cute, but he'll need to either figure out how to shoot a mid-range jumper or finish on the left side of the rim.

Gee I wonder who was yelling this all game against the Lakers. Boggles the mind how somebody watching the game can see this yet the players on the court don't realize that he's killing you when he goes a certain direction. So how about we not adjust and just let him keep doing it?! dur

The one time he did go left and try and finish with the left hand he didn't look nearly as comfortable.

Is it a good or a bad thing that the best Jazz lineup consists of rookies and 2nd year players?

3rd game in 3 nights @ OKC.. lool it's going to be so ugly.

Dolan going overboard as usual. Lin has proven that he's a guy that should get minutes in this league. I need 15 more games out of him though before I can reach the conclusion that he's a good pg.

Lin is less crafty with his left hand off the dribble, but he will drive left. What he lacks is the ability to finish a drive with his left. Even when he goes up on the left side he finishes with his right. He can't even finish with the left if his palm is facing the basket.

What are everyone's plans for tonight?

I'm spending Singles Awareness Day with Best-gaf and the Lin-Amare pnr.

My last night of extra duty! fuck yea!

And I deserve to be called a simp for just coughing up 240 bucks on a necklace for a notevengirlfriendlolwtfson. I got my little sister an iphone though. So that kinda makes up for a little.
no it doesn't simp

every minute of that game was "garbage time" for NO, at least the young guys actually gave a shit.

Yes, but if Watson-Burks-Hayward-Favors-Kanter played together a lot more during games, they would probably get killed. That team would be pretty average at best defensively with some of the awareness and effort issues and abysmal offensively with the lack of quality decision making from players other than Watson and Hayward, the lack of shooting, and the lack of guys that can actually score well at this point. I would be fine with those guys playing a lot more for development, but it would probably led to a lot of 94-79 losses.

You essentially just summed up the Jazz Starters as well.

As long as Millsap is constantly pissed off because he doesn't get calls.. 94-79 is what we will be seeing.

Lin getting forced to his left won't be so much a problem with better shooters/finishers to help him out and reset the possession.

...which is pretty much exactly what happened in the Lakers and Wolves games. He recognized the trap, people helped him out and helped him move the ball, the offense reset, he got the ball again and life continued. Soon it won't be Bill Walker and Jared Jeffries bailing him out - instead, it'll be Stoudemire and Anthony.

Lin will be fine - and hopefully, he'll be in the gym working to improve his ability to go/finish with his left. Was Nash good at that when he first came in the league? I'm curious...
