Here's yet another video I posted online today in response to some comments I received from people about PSP games on the Vita. A lot of people seemed to assume I was just doing it wrong, and that all PSP games on the PSN store could just be downloaded on the PS3, and transferred over to the PS Vita. This video shows how the content manager application works, and why some games just don't seem to work for me.

I domt see why not.
I logged into my Vita a UK account, then JPN account, and currently use my US account. All on the same card.

Ok thanks that great!

The video above is the way to switch using different memory card. So to switch the vita account without switching a memory card, do I just follow the same step above, but without taking out the memory card while formatting the machine? So it doesn't require me to format my memory card, is it correct?

Sorry for keep asking questions!

Oh, that's better than expected. Thought you had to erase each account like on the PSP and couldn't have them on the system at the same time.

Wipeout is great! I can already feel the addiction setting in.

Total wipeout virgin here though, so help me out:

What's the "proper" wipeout control scheme and method for playing? The default trigger to accelerate and dual-airbrake are comfortable, but I'm guessing I'll need the triggers for individual left/right air brake later when tracks are tougher, leaving the accel on th X button? Dpad taps seem pretty good now, but should I be training on the analog?
Using L and R for air brakes, and X for acceleration, is probably the best way to play it. Make sure you turn off the pilot assist mode, since it will also reduce your max speed.

The DD PSP games that worked so far: Little BIg Planet

The DD PSP games that have not worked so far: Motorstorm Artic Edge :(
I added MotorStorm: Arctic Edge to the OP.

That's a long video for what only takes a couple mins. :)

Yeah, I did exactly what he did except I never took the memory card out. And I didn't deactivate the system. I didn't see the point in doing so because the activation is tied to the system ID. It won't be lost just because I switch accounts and format settings.

In other words, when I log back into my Japanese account in the future, it will already be activated from my first time.

ok that is good. I just tried it and it worked, but I deactivated the system because of that video. :( I hope it wouldn't cause any problems when I go back to Japanese account in the future.

But I wonder why they didn't upload gravity rush demo on US PSN. There are gravity Rush english demo on other country's PSN.

You shouldn't have to worry about account deactivations unless you somehow break more than 2 Vitas in the near future and already nuked your activation slots via SEN's website recently

I kinda want a Vita, but not for the Vita games, but for the PSP RPGs I've missed out on over these past few years.

I'm thinking of buying some of them also, but some of the prices are horrible compared to their UMD versions... Persona 3 is $39.99 digital... but $22 on Amazon for the UMD. I also have a lot of UMDs that I got a year ago for a lot cheaper than what they're selling them for online. Makes it hard to double dip for them on the Vita.

Nope :)

I am re-downloading Both God of war's and Modnation.

I can confirm that both Lego Star Wars III and Silent Hill Shattered Memories work, copied them both over last night.

I'll be curious how it goes for Modnation, shame about COO.

EDIT: Wait are you sure COO didn't work? It's listed on the Vita store, at least on my machine. Sooooo it should work? What region are you in?

Doesn't matter either way.
Since you deactivated the Japanese account, you'll just have that extra step of re-activating it next time.

I just check the version. It was the one FOR the PS3 to be played on PS3. That probably explains it.

Need to set-up new Japanese PSN account then. I forgot the details for the last one, and there is no way I'm not showing people Gravity Daze next week.

I dont know if you download the demo from Japanese store and change your account to US will change the demo language to English or not. But apparently I downloaded the Gravity Rush demo from Korean PSN store and the demo is in English.

Japanese demo stays Japanese. :(
I should have used my HK account.

Demos aren't locked.
I have all the Japanese demos on my US account and they play fine.

How did you do that?

I tried copying the Gravity Daze demo from my Japanese account on PS3 to my US account on Vita and that didn't work. I tried copying it while logged into my US account on PS3 and it still didn't work. It said something like "you can only copy content that your account is the owner of."

I tried directly formatting the system and logging into a different account, and all my demos from previous account that was in the memory cards were there.

This answer is confusing. Where is the PS3 in all of this? Is it 2 portable systems plus a PS3? Cannot share with PS3? Replace PSP with PS3? I'm pretty sure it's the latter (i.e. 2 activated systems no matter what, but the answer they give is not really clear).

Q: If you buy download content for PS Vita, up to how many systems can you copy it to?
A: Users can activate two portable systems (either two PSPs, two PS Vitas, or one PSP and one PS Vita) to their PSN account.

I heard from somewhere before that it is 2 PS3 and 2 portable systems. So I guess you cannot have 2 Vita 1PSP or vice versa.

This is going to sound like a dumb question but ill give it a shot anyways. I was looking for something to store my games in and since i dont really like how they fit in FEB case, and the official one doesnt hold that many, i remembered what i store my 3DS games in:

this is going to sound dumb but this is just me being paranoid, there is no way the games could get ruined by putting them in the case right? like the chip being scratched or something since its just plastic and they will slide around when i am traveling with the case and what not.

If 3DS games are fine, Vita games should be fine as well. Both have exposed metal pins AFAIK.

So yeah, I'll ask again, Hot Shots or Wipeout?

As I don't have Wipeout I am biased towards Hot Shots. I have put more time in it then Uncharted so far. But it depends, fun golf or bad ass racing combat.

You realize this list will evolve ?

I hope gamers will keep testing the games in the future.
Absolutely, and I don't mind updating it. Although it would be a lot easier if people just sent me a PM instead of relying on me catching their post in this thread. It moves pretty fast.

Someone try Pinball Hall of Fame: Williams Collection from the UK PSN store! =D

(Otherwise it will be me next Thursday).

Played this thing for about 2 mins the other day ... fell in LOVE with it!

Nice sized screen (I forever hate the 3DS tiny screen ...) and the the gravity gae looks awesome!

Can't wait to get this for cheap some day :]
