I swear if my games arrive on time but my vita doesn't there will be hell to pay!

None that I've tried.. I download Gravity Rush from both the HK/JP store and neither worked. I also dled VT4 with no success.

You made something wrong then, because it should be possible.
What did you do?

The best way should be to download them directly with the vita and then switch back to your standard account.
You should still be able to play the demos then.
Also you can download them with the ps3 and transfer them to your vita, but you have to use the same account on the vita as on your ps3.
After the transfer you can switch accounts again.

What's not possible:

Download demos (gravity rush f.e.) from HK-Account with your ps3 and transfer it directly to your vita with an US-account.


Well again, I don't have a vita yet so i could be wrong, but thats how i understood it.

I think it is an app that lets you transfer videos from your Vita to your PS3 if you have that PS3 PVR (which is calle Torne). It only came out in Japan.

MH is pretty cheap, like under $10, so if you want to check it out you wont have to spend much money. A MH Vita game is probably not out before many many months.

I'd play through your current games and get MH when there's a deal/done with your games.

That's not going to work then Mike unless you also switch accounts on the Vita.

You have to download them on your Vita directly.
Then switch accounts and not erase the memory card on the same system.

So would I need two memory cards to try this then?

So a friend of mine just confirmed one of the questions i had. The vita titles do show up on your FB if you synch it. (if you have it enabled of course)

Yup, but it seems like you constantly have to go back into the trophies app before it updates.

I unlocked all three of those trophies within the same hour or so, but only the first one automatically posted onto my FB. The next morning, I went into the trophies app to sync and it posted the rest of them. Kind of weird and troublesome.

Well again, I don't have a vita yet so i could be wrong, but thats how i understood it.

That's what I did, and it didn't work.. Then again, I only own one memory card.
I attempted to sign out (US account) and then sign in with my HK. But I got some message stating I can only log-in with the account that is tied to the Vita. I'm pretty sure getting a second memory card will fix this issue.

The PSPgo would also automatically create a save state if the battery ran low and the unit put itself to sleep as a precaution. I guess we'll see how the Vita handles it.

Does anyone know anything about that CTA Digital screen protector that Amazon is now including with the 3G launch bundle? I'm thinking I may just go ahead and put in an order for the Hori one since I know nothing about the CTA protector. Still deciding on a case though, ugh. I've had this case for my PSPgo . . .

Check THIS one out. It's not exactly the same (and actually is similar to the one being sold at Target somebody posted), but for $10, I figured why not try it. It also doesn't open only on one side like the one you posted, which actually looks really nice. I like this style of case better than the fanny pack looking cases Sony is selling, so I can't wait for it to ship to check it out. The only other kind of case I would buy is something identical to the Logitech Playgear case.

Unfortunately not quite the same, you can exit out and use certain apps but not play other games.

I've seen the review (Japanese) and it looked like a average game.
But looking at the video, it seems very interesting.
I'll wait for Euro/US reviews.

Rayman and UMVC3 are the ones really popping for me so far.

See, I really think the UK accounts don't work at the moment. I have Trails on my PS3 downloaded, won't even appear on my Vita to transfer over..... :/

most of my UK PSP games transferred over. the only one that didnt show up was patapon 3. Interestingly the Vita showed patapon from my japanese account, but it wouldn't let me transfer it. Seems it shows everything as a tease.

so since it's going to be on my nightstand to be charged nightly, now i have to go buy a second USB cable. i appreciate sony trying to make stuff more affordable but they're getting stingy.

I don't blame. Screenshots look like shit from Vita. They need to fix the compression. I'd disable screenshots in a game too if I thought they were going to turn out looking like crap.

I'd be interested to know why and what launches you think went better, because I only planned on getting UMVC3 and SSD and now I'm looking at 7 games that I bought, not to mention 4 PSP games, plus all the old ones I had that just look way better.

Oh I think the Vita has a great launch lineup. I just don't think uncharted golden abyss will stand as a pinnacle launch title. I find the game pretty crappy, to be honest.

For myself, Super Stardust Delta is the perfect launch title.

But Blazblue, Rayman and UMVC3 are all visually amazing and don't feel like gimped ports.

Thanks for that suggestion. The PSP version of that case seems to have really good reviews at Amazon, so for the price it seems like a good case for a blind buy (just so I have something to put the Vita in when it gets here since I'm heading out of town next weekend and would need a case).

i think it will be for those that don't know anything about vita other than that uncharted is a popular franchise with good games and now vita has one.

but yeah, everyone in-the-know is going to either get it for the heck of it, just skip over it, or wait for a big price drop.

Probably going against the flow, but I never really got on with Rayman, and i have a soft spot for Katamari. Vita version is crazy verbose but the dual analogues make control enjoyable, and the touch for flattening the katamari out (or squeezing it to make it tall) are a nice touch
