Finally decided that I'm going to be buying the PSV on the 24th :) That's when my tax return will be here. I really wanted to wait for more games to be released (LBP, Ruin) because the launch titles aren't all that appealing to me.. but I just want the it in my hands!

plus, I'm sure I'll be able to find some games that I would enjoy.

Has anyone had some hands on time with Dungeon Hunter Alliance? I know.. GAMELOFT... but I really want a dungeon crawler on my handheld.. collecting loot and clearing dungeons in between my classes sounds absolutely excellent.

Edit: Has anyone had some time with the multiplayer ? That's another huge plus for me : )

Edit2: Also.. length? I've read different things from 15 hours to 30 hours to 45 :P Man if it's anywhere near 30 hours (or over) I'd be thrilled. I just really hope it has deep gameplay

I bought dungeon hunters as one of the buy 2 g1 free deals so it was $26 -5% with target card and best buy would buy it back for $27 right now so I went for it.

I'd recommend it if you like diablo style loot games AND have a buddy to play co op with.

I don't have a working ps3 so I didn't get to try out that version but the game is pretty fun. A bit of jankiness but co op is seemless party chat works great while playing and it seems to be a pretty long game. Plus leader boards are neat. And there's a horde mode. We've also not had any drops or lag issues.

My gripes with it are load times are long and the frame rate isn't a solid 30.

It's strange to think that this system will most likely have a slow launch when you see the excitement in this thread.

Never lose hope! It seems like Sony is actually trying this time around. I do think though, it'd be unwise to judge the Vita from launch. 3DS wasn't hot either when that launched and people were like it's Nintendo so they're guaranteed success!

GAF tends to have that effect on things. Hang out on these forums and you start to get caught up in hype, while the "real world" doesn't even notice that things are going on.

That said, while I was at Target yesterday trying to score the B2G1 deal, I did run into another Vita buyer. He was trying to get the deal as well (We were both denied!) and we struck up a conversation about the system. He was very excited about it and neither of us could wait until we get our hands on our new toy.

If I am buying all of my games at retail when possible and only going digital for PSN only titles, such as Super Stardust Delta, what size memory card would probably be my best bet?

Ideally I'd like to go with 32GB right out of the gate but I don't think I can justify $100 for a 32GB memory card.

8 or 16 GB. I'd go with 16 GB to be safe, but if that's out of your budget the 8 GB will definitely suffice for now.

PSN only Vita titles (is there a name for these like "arcade games" on the 360?) seem to be kind of varied in size at the moment. SSD (w/o DLC) is about 200 MB while Escape Plan is around 800+ MB, which is bigger than Lumines at around 700 mb.

The 8GB that comes with the 3G launch bundle should be good for now.

I was content with the 16, but couldn't pass up on the $75 price for the 32 at Lockerz. That's a little more than a gig per $1 for that additional $15.

Retro City Rampage announced for Vita/PS3!

You have got to watch the trailer, it looks awesome.

I wonder if it's a full release w/trophies or a minis release. Either way, can't wait.

I'd love for them to come out with some type of adatper in the future so that my current 32GB does not need to be thrown away once I (inevitably) want more storage on my device.

Anybody buying Army Corps of Hell? It's just £19.95 on thehut
I'm tempted, but I think I'm going to have to try it out first.
Most of the criticisms I've read seem to be around "repetitive gameplay", but I'm going to buy it anyway on Wednesday for the soundtrack... I've been playing Devil's Crush on my TurboExpress for 22 years because I love the soundtrack, and it's just a single pinball table; doesn't get more repetitive than that...

Well, when the PSP PSN game gets revealed in a couple days that enables loading of HBL on Vita you'll have a small window of chance to use it for such.

Something I'm debating.
I want to find out how they copy the homebrew/emu/ISO files they're running in the PSP emulator onto the Vita memory card in the first place!

Does anyone ordering from Amazon Uk have the delivery date 23rd Feb? I have first class shipping and the option to dispatch as soon as they are available.

Sounds like via content manager in PSP saves.
Not 100% though.

isn't it some psp save data exploit thing? so probably enter Vita by modifying this particular psp save data.

Can we backup complete games on the PS3 too or only saves?

I do, hopefully if it does indeed dispatch on the 21st first class delivery will get it to us by the 22nd anyway.

GAF looks great on the Vita screen/browser. It can be disappointingly slow to refresh pages as you scroll, but the pages themselves load lightning fast and the touch keyboard works brilliantly.

RCR is a must buy. I hope it's a buy 1 get both title.

And taken from Vita cam

Son and I were eating at Subway and we were chillin' out while I was posting earlier.

I wanted to buy either Virtual Tennis 4 or UMVC3 really badly but I decided to hold off because I want NG Sigma Plus.

My next purchase will be either VT4 or UMVC3, I've never been big into either of those games, not because I don't like them but rather because I never buy them. Any advice on either of em?
