Piers Morgan called Gary Lineker a narcissist.
The best bit was telling Frimpong he obviously didn't care about Arsenal because he went on loan.
Most embarrassing celebrity fan since such a concept originated.

I just watched a compilation of Fernando Torres' goals for Liverpool.
..and I've come to the realisation that I still haven't gotten over our breakup.
Your gorgeous knockout sweet heart got bitter, fat and doesn't love you anymore.
Some sad sucker somehow has the hots for her. Gotta cut off the ties while there's still a chance.
lol said:Theyve got a steely determination , Pearce said at the time. They want to defend, theyre happy to get hit with the ball to keep it out the of the net and thats a real trait to have.

Haha.
Actually in a similar vein the live performance that always sticks in my mind was Michael Owen against us. We drew 3-3 with Liverpool at Hillsborough years and years back and Owen was only just breaking through at Liverpool. We outplayed them and should have won the game, but the difference maker in the game was Owen. He was fucking phenomenal. Absolutely unstoppable. Just blistering pace and ability beyond an 18 year old. He tore us apart and scored his first professional hat trick. It was one of those performances where you just had to sit back and say "Yeah, this kid's going to be class".
I know Owen is pretty much a comedy character at this point but it's easy to forget just how good he was. I think he was one of the best natural finishers of his generation and if it wasn't for injuries and a general lack of interest in the game as time went on I think he'd go down in history as being regarded as such.

Cecil Fucking PurslowYou guys really think that wage list is bad? To me that doesnt look horrible at all. At Liverpool we have at least one midfielder making 100k + per week. Pepe Reina, Dirk Kuyt, Jamie Carragher and Glen Johnson probably all make 80-100k as well. Torres was. Joe Cole was on 100k/wk before we loaned him out. We brought in some affordable players like Carroll and Henderson who are around 50 or 60 per week which is a good start. Adam and Jose Enrique probably cheap as well
If you think a list where the highest earner is 70,000 p/wk is bad, you guys would get explosive diarrhea if you saw City's (and United's would have a few shockers too)
One thing I'll never miss about the Western world is the absolutely dreadful service thats standard in every store from a 99c store to the Dior Homme boutique. It's awful. In Japan, shop staff treat you like a god no matter what you're buying.

Awesome music choice.
Awful music choice.
:lol at Wayne Rooney's posistion on that list. I wonder how much of that is down to him 'questioning the ambition' of United?

Seriously, if I was Danny Welbeck I'd be royally pissed off. Your strike partner is on £200k a week and your there on £15k.
Yeah, to be fair, he is overpaid, just like every footballer. But how much was he fined again? And City refused him his loyalty bonuses etc. They made a stand, United didn't they just gave him more money and that's the difference.

He's better than every player underneath him there apart from maybe Yaya?
It's an exorbitant amount of money but it's hilarious to hear a City fan laughing at a player getting high wages.
Not laughing at the high wages. Laughing at the way he got a pay rise.
Chelsea had quite a few young players a few years back who seemed like they were going to break through any minute; Bruma, van Aanholt, Mancienne and McEachran. As it stands, Bruma never plays but isn't allowed to go on loan because they don't have any other left backs, two of them are on loan I believe and Mancienne was sold after a bunch of loan moves.
Bruma is on loan to Hamburg right now. Do you mean Bertrand?

Given McEachran is only 16 or thereabouts i would not say he was on the verge of breaking through a few years ago; indeed the fact that he is on loan and to a premier league team is a testament to his potential. You'd be better off using Kakuta as an example.
In any case, pretty much every team will have had a few youngsters always on the cusp of breaking through only to see none or only 1 actually make any kind of impact on the first team because the standard is so high, particularly when discussing teams with Champions league ambitions.
Bruma is a terrible player, just saying.
