Hah, did Scannertroll really just only scanned the first HDD partition? Awesome, 6gb free space!
They said it takes all the info, but only displays the first. So people with multiple HD's, or integrated/discrete card combos, have no fear, they are getting all the relevant information.

I said "Wow" o_o
Ewwwww....I hope not. Yes I am actually hoping a feature is not in the game.
Gamepads are not a practical input device for mmo's. There are too many simultaneous inputs to be pressed and need to switch ability sets for a gamepad to be practical for an mmo. It just doesn't work well. Even in Tera a game that specifically wanted gamepad support it just doesn't work all that well in comparison to a mouse and keyboard.
Unrelated: Curse this thread. Don't tell people about the beta. You are ruining my odds of being selected
(Curse my bumping of this thread XD).

The jumping still looks a bit weird, but i'm so excited to see some actual exploration in a MMO for once.
Confirmation emails still lagging behind?
Yeah, still haven't got mine. I bet they saw mine and said "Hmm...chelmo...nope deleted." /cry

Crafting Explained. It's like Skyrim alchemy, but you have to craft the parts first. It's not anything too exciting. You want a shield? You craft a shielf base, a handle and then an insignia to improve it, plop all three into discovery tab and boom.

Rather than attempt to explain just how challenging but utterly cool these areas can be, Ive put together a short teaser video of one such area found in the Ascalon Basin area of the charr starting zones. To avoid too many major spoilers, the following video only shows the first part of the area up to the point where you start running into various traps.
The traps in this particular puzzle ranged from the spike traps you can see represented by red circles on the ground closer to the end of the video, to a corridor filled with flame traps that you have to dodge roll through, and a seemingly straight forward run up some stairs that can end in a quick dirt nap if you dont dodge falling boulders fast enough.
Heres a tip for anyone who seeks out this particular challenge: bring some friends along. That way, if you get zapped by the traps youll have an easier time keeping one another alive as you ascend this particular jumping puzzle.
