I envy all people who can watch Gunbuster for the first time.
Fantastic mechanical design and stuff like time dilation with all techical and social implications - so good. I'm not a big fan of NGE but it's fact that Anno is a great director.
It's crazy that I watch Gunbuster only because of Rinne no Lagrange (and Nadesico).
I started it yesterday after finishing Planetes
On ep 4
I like how they showed the stars redshifting while traveling near lightspeed in ep 2

Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Episode 02
Yeah, I think I'll definitely be sticking with this one. Seems like there's enough mystique to everything and has a strong visual design that I'll be pleased, regardless where the story really goes.

I think Homura is the only person in this show I really trust. Everything just seems too straight forward and simple right now... But Mami is still awesome. HOLY COW THE GIANT GUN!
Uh, I mean, yeah, the witch fight was pretty cool. I still love the look of the other world places. It drives me nuts how much I enjoy the overall look of the background art and the color choices, but I just can't stand the character designs.
Also, poor Madoka being laughed at for designing her costume. : (

Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei Bangaichi 01
So, home stretch! First of the last part of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. And, being an OAV, there is probably an actual budget that won't get blown through. While not as noticeably more colorful compared to the last set of OAVs, it was still a slight improvement from Zan, with less repeated segments.
Sadly, the first part just dragged. Then, the second part was decent. I did like part three, with the introduction of Chiri's older sis, their tag teaming and just the amusement of tossing garbage everywhere.
Let's hope the last OAV at least makes for a decent ending for this long, budget less series.

Is the second season of Ghost in the Shell: SAC better than the first? I usually love cyber-punk, and I loved the movie and look of the show, but overall felt the first season was very talky and expositional, without enough payoff.

Garzey's Wing dub should be first for you I think.
Trust me, Arjuna isn't a tenth as scarring as School Days or Blood-C. You're not missing anything by not watching it. It's just.............strange and unpleasant. But nothing that will break your mind.

Have you watched Five Centimeters Per Second? If not, you should check it out. It's an upbeat romance/drama with beautiful visuals.
The movie's only about an hour long, and it'll provide some much needed mental/emotional healing. You don't want to go totally numb, after all.
