Hey! Have been lurking this thread for several months and now as a member I can finally join these wonderful conversations!

Steins Gate 25
I could literally watch full season of daily lives of Steins Gate characters. I love them so much. Great episode although the ending was such a big troll.

Depends what you are after, but I'm inclined to say yes - it goes well beyond being goofy into being utterly insane.

Saying that, whilst the episodes that have followed were at least better than the first two, it's not been as amusing as the third episode again.

Well, I might give the third episode a try then.

How are the CDs for Blood-C broken up? Which volumes had the soundtrack CDs, and which volumes had Drama CDs? I can't find a proper list anywhere. -_-

Episode 11-13

Some nice episodes revolving around Yukino's new friends while Arima is away for the summer. I'm glad she's got them to keep her company while he's gone. They're all pretty interesting characters and I feel kinda bad for Maho since it feels like she's just being dragged around with them. I really didn't like Tsubasa's character at first but the story revolving her family was honestly really heartwarming by the end. I was happy to see how it all unfolded.

Also it seems like she's getting tinier and tinier with each episode.

Episodes 14-15

Ugh two recap episodes? Well one and a half I guess.

Episode 16

Oh man. Yukino's dad is awesome. ;_;

Episode 17 and 18

tumblr_luwxkfvSZR1qdippyo1_1280.jpg

Bahahaha that was a great return of Arima.

Man his family is pretty vicious though. Poor dude. :/

I honestly wasn't expecting
them to actually have sex.
It was interesting how they handled that.

Episode 19

...

What.

pic reminds of the bizarre echi anime starring a hamster...ebichu!

So uh, looks like the bleach anime is ending

http://0taku.livedoor.biz/archives/4120275.html

It could be a typo though.

I've been watching Bleach from the beginning and still follow it weekly out of nostalgia for the good times, but it needed to go away a loooooooong time ago.

If true I'm kind of surprised, though, because more effort was being put into the animation and direction in the arc currently being animated. It came pretty close to feeling like old Bleach at times, but if they've failed to bring the audience back, not much they can do.

Blood-C - 01

Good first episode. The action scenes were actually pretty detailed which surprised me. Saya is moe as hell but a bit too one-dimensional going all kyun-kyun for her father 24/7

wtf was that, though?

Another life ruined in the wake of my marathon.

Yes wikan?

Nah it's ok I'm fine with. Worst part is I went in watching school days without knowing what it is,thinking it as some cliche romance. The horror....

No way, you should consider yourself lucky. I'll never know what it's like to see the finale without actually knowing what happens beforehand. My meltdown would have undoubtedly been several orders of magnitude higher than even my Blood-C reaction
especially since I was on team Sekai
.

Maybe I didn't catch the original Spring list but a few of those seem interesting, mainly:

-Ozuma
-Uchuu Kyoudai (err Spacebros)
-Kuroko no Basuke (only because it's about a short basketball player *raises hand*)
-Jormungand
-Sankarea
-Zetman...I guess

That with the usual suspects:
-Sakamichi no Apollon
-new Gundam Unicorn
-new Kenshin

And my most exciting new discovery:
-New Kenichi OVA's! Fuck yeah

Along these sentiments, hell, after the first arc, dat decline. And then when Troll King
Aizen
finally, FINALLY comes back into the picture...well, you know.
Just as planned.
So yeah, kill it while it's dead.

I could only imagine if they'd made image songs...

I was still genuinely enjoying it through the early Arrancar stuff (Bounts notwithstanding), but the second they set foot into
Hueco Mundo
it was never good again. I think Bleach's legacy will be the sheer amount of wasted potential it embodies.

I watched a trailer for Accel World and I saw some funny fat dude, a robot fighting something and butterfly girl. I'm kinda interested. Are the source materials any good?

Quite.

Personal example: Even though someone could have probably see the terrible for miles, I was looking forward to the
Zanpakuto
arc at the time.

I don't know what the hell I expected, but whatever that was, wasn't it.
Anyways, yes, falling flat on potential is most definitely its legacy.

I didn't care for the Accel World manga, it's just another
boring cliched romance where the perfect girl falls for the worthless guy, who turns into SUPER COOL DUDE in the alternate world. The MC is the standard "why am I so worthless" character, who defeats all his opponents because he has HEART.

I had the very slightest shred of hope for that filler arc too, but it laughed while taking a giant shit on my extremely modest expectations.

After all, everything about what's wrong with Bleach can be summed up with two pictures of Zabimaru's spirit form. We went from this in Soul Society:

Bleach should have died years ago.

Hahaha!
And that's how the cookie crumbles.

The explanation they gave of him changing shape was hilarious too. Anyway, the anime ending seems natural considering the manga is in it's final arc. Not shocked at all. If they decide to end the anime after the Xecution arc and OVA the final arc, that'd be a shocker.

Screw it. Not gonna be worth it especially with all the other shows out there in the Spring

Black Rock Shooter Ep4

Surprisingly this episode for the most part is much more competent than the previous ones. The direction and pacing of scenes in general feel more on the ball than the last 3 episodes. The writing is still pretty terrible, and the characters are extremely unrealistic, but it wasn't all bad this week. There are at least two moments where you just wonder why the show has to over-dramatize character emotions so much to the point of being comical though. The CG World scenes were pretty solid, and there's a great lead in to next week's episode.

Looks pretty exciting!

I'm looking for a show based off a gif I saw on GAF some time ago. It was this group of teenagers playing chess until something went down off screen and the group tossed all the pieces off the chessboard, folded it up and ran jumping out the window for the escape.

I have no idea what the context is but that scene popped into my mind and amused me. :lol

Medaka Box
Sakamichi no Apollon
Sankarea, Mysterious Girlfriend X & Tasogare Otome X Amnesia (Shoutouts to Manga GAF)

I'll probably try that new Saint Seiya too.

Would OVAs sell? I don't know how the Bleach fandom compares to, say, Rurouni Kenshin or Hunter X Hunter (which also had OVAs released), but is there enough of a market that would buy such a thing?

It's sad watching you do this to yourself, Duckroll.

AzureJericho, the show is Angel Beats, but you want to avoid it, it's not very good.

There are several options open to them at this point:

a) A final chapter season later on when the manga is actually ending, and there's enough material to run to the end in a weekly series.

b) Short OVA covering the final chapter.

c) Final chapter as a movie.

d) Don't bother, Bleach sucks and no one cares anyway.

They might go the InuYasha route and do one final season later on. Now that I think about it, OVA's (unless they're low budget) seems unlikely.

Not that the TV series is high budget by any means.

The last option is clearly the best one

I would almost prefer Bleach to end at the Xcution finale because it would, at the very least, spare everyone one final filler arc. Ideally, if Kubo wants to repent even a little for the shit he's put the fans through for so long, that final filler would reveal lots of long-held mysteries that have no relevance to the main plot like
the Bankai of Yamamoto and others, the name of Kenpachi's Zanpakuto, whether or not Grimmjow is dead
, etc. but I really, really doubt we'd ever be treated to anything like that.

It'll probably be something like "the fairies in Orihime's hairpin that haven't been seen since Soul Society come back as Arrancars and want to kill everyone because Szayel secretly injected something into Orihime when she was held captive and they need to find an antidote but the only one who has it is Kurotsuchi but he won't give it up unless Ichigo wins a tournament against a series of mutants from his failed experiments and there's lots of drama because one of them is a clone of Ishida's grandfather that retained all of his memories and wants to see Ishida again." Actually, I'd probably watch.

Kanketsu-hen had great pacing compared to the original series, so when put in this light I'd really like to see what would happen if Bleach went the OVA route.

I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be (a), considering that Bleach is still very popular.

Definitely option "A".
