2012 draft declared "weak" already. NBA Scouts time of the month I guess.

But as we enter the last week of February, NBA executives are rushing to downgrade the draft.

"Everyone talks about how great this draft is," one NBA GM told ESPN.com. "On paper in July, it really looked that way. On the ground in February, I'm not that impressed. Anthony Davis is great. But after that, there are a lot of question marks and a surprising lack of depth. I'm not sure that the 2012 draft will be better than the 2011 one."

But you guys said that unibrow kid was really good.

He has the opposite problem of Lebron. He's gonna have to lower his headband to cover that thing.

He's going to need cyclops eye visors to steer attention away from his brow forest.

Honestly, it would look awesome, like futuristic James Worthy.

someone did an awesome job of reading a whole single paragraph.

Oops. My mistake. My only exposure to college ball is the tournament so I'm really not familiar with names. I used to watch when St. John's had Zendon Hamilton and Felipe Lopez.

Looking forward to seeing him play.

we got rasheed fucking wallace.
its not officially full retard until we sign gunbert.

in fairness we were slightly robbed because the charge down on our drop goal attempt was like

comically offside

and lol @ genia. is cooper healthy yet?

as some other random reds and au nba supporter stated (WTF did he come from), coopers gonna miss at lesat 6 games.

If McKenzie has a brain, he'll make him miss at lesat 8.

I lol'd. Cooper is so thick/dumb. Guy at a press event kicked his last of 10 kicks, with his right leg (the knee he destroyed at the cup), said it felt good, so he called his physio and told him he's gonna start kicking practice.

Tried it today, best way to sum it up is "sexy mess"

Like, each division made their own thing, each did a good job and nothing looks integraded, cohesive or user friendly.

Yeah I'm not feeling the interface, and little things here and there that are annoying, but the games are awesome, and ultimately what counts for me.

Bulls WOULD be pretty good with Howard.

I think their D would be even better.

But i'm so uncertain on how he would work on offense. Mainly because his offense whilst so vastly improved over 2 years ago. Just seems so... disjointed? I'm not sure how much is on SVG and how much dwight.

Definetly not a reds supporter, brumbies fan here (went to school with Christian Lealifano and he got me into the game). After Quade's world cup are people even expecting much? Or maybe hes a club performer only.

Anyway enough rugby, im stuck at work on a sat morning with only the celebrity game to keep me goin...smh.

Shaq, Penny, and Scott are all talking together on NBA TV now

I guess Penny was ok with being called Fredo

Nick Anderson was way more integral on those early 90s Magic teams, revisionist history BS that 3D was there and not him.

Still liked seeing Shaq and Penny together tho

I messed around with one earlier in the week. No clue why they didn't bring back the XMB, not a fan of the OS interface at all. It's nice and all, but I just don't need a handheld anymore. I drive everywhere and if I'm home, I'd rather just play on PS3 or 360.

I want a platform for short more creative games. I hardly have times for games these days, give me a platform that pumps out games similar to Limbo, NBAJAM, Bastian, Fat Princess and the like and I'd be super happy.

Having Uncharted and such is kind of cool but Id rather have crazy cinematic games on home consoles.

So I picked up Mirror's Edge (only 4 years late. Fashionable, right?) and I think it's totally infuriating. Any part where you are faced with dudes with guns is just awful.

Yeah. The first run of that game will almost always be terrible because you don't know where to go and you're essentially 'forced' into combat because of that.

Speaking of LTTP - I just started playing RDR and goddamn

How come I don't recognize like a half of the celebrities in the celebrity game? I swear I think they are just throwing random people off the streets and calling them celebrities!

One team representative made what Jackson characterized as a “somewhat humorous” proposal that actually might achieve the league’s goal of shortening games: Penalize players for moving around the lane area and slapping fives after free throws. The committee didn’t pass that proposal, but adopted an informal recommendation that in extreme cases – such as a player walking to half court to high-five after a free throw – the team should be assessed a delay-of-game warning.

“It’s more of a referee interpretation,” Jackson said.

wtf

The committee also viewed a presentation on player tracking, a technology that digitally illustrates every movement a player makes during a game -- such as how high they jump when getting a rebound and how much space is between the shooter and defender, and how shooting percentage varies with that space. About 10 teams currently use a version of this technology to evaluate players, and the committee discussed the idea of someday providing it at the league level to all teams.

pretty cool.

But what if there was a prize? LeBron was asked if someone tossed a $1 million winner-take-all bounty on it, if he'd take part.

"Then I'd reconsider," he said "Wouldn't you?"

What if they offered you free appletinis, Lebron?

on 360?

I have RR. I barely played the game because I got bored. Maybe i just wasn't doing it right

RUN TMC is back. My body.

They're sharing Oscar weekend or something

Exactly. It's not super clear what you need to do all the time (frequently, even) and it turns into this trial and error grind. Which sucks because the game doesn't give you enough checkpoints, so I'll die and get sent back pretty far. Ugh.
