Added some new pieces of hardware to my little setup! First, got another Wii to play the new Kirbs and Zelda...and to add the Red one to my collection before it disappears. Also got a Flamemeister that I'll be using with my Saturn once I get back to Europe. Got my Wii hooked up to it now with a D-terminal cable. All Under Defeat Ready, just waiting on the game!

And, as a movie theater!

Doesn't quite qualify as gaming setup, but the first pic from our new place we renovated down to the shell, taken for Wet Shaving GAF. Once our wooden blinds are in I'll take pictures from around the flat inc. gaming.

nice!

here's my setup for 99% of my gaming time lately.

focusing on vita right now because it's the new hotness, but honestly my gaming time is generally split pretty evenly across my handhelds with some rare home console gaming when I have the free time. It's just so much easier to find the time to play portables.

chittagong. i have a very similar shaver stand with the molten & brown- scary!

you don't wear creed/penhaligon eau di toliettes too?

Lol, no I am actually in the process of finding a good shaving oil / cream / aftershave / cologne range for my new gear, have tried T&H samples this week, most of them smell too old man like according to my wife. Sandalwood is pretty good though, reminds me of Polo Sport.

I love your little military hidey hole crate. I love that you have an assault rifle a few inches a way from your television. It's so absurd!

Even more absurd is that five feet behind my wall is an active mortar pit and twenty feet to the left is helicopter landing zone. The DUST!

So what do you do when you get back from your patrol? Play MW3? You can't blame them if they keep saying your tv volume is too high :)

Console setup is nothing special either, but I wanted to show off my ICO poster (That I really need to find a better frame for together with Dexter... but hey, I am poor and had the frames laying around).

Would some people mind posting a few current images consisting of closeups of your video game collections and shots of how you store them? Alternate storage methods and even just shelves/racks would be great.

I would appreciate it very much.

Man chitta, stop teasing and post something already :p It's been 2 years of teasing.

:D

I am getting some lenses and a tripod out this weekend, to do a full photoshoot of the finished flat. here's hoping sunny mornings and evenings to London so I can get nice pictures.

so, if we are lucky with weather, should have pictures here before the week is over!

this pic basically reaffirms my original belief that the 3DS is one UGLY handheld... its down there with the original DS in terms of looks... the DSi and XL are hotness though

Well my collection is pretty damn messy at the moment but I'll give it a shot. I'm no photographer either so sorry for the shitty pictures.

I basically store all my games on these shelves in alphabetical order based the system. As you can see, I've run out of room and started stacking things in front of other games which I hate. I really have to buy some new shelves soon.

This black shelf was bought at Walmart and it is pretty much perfect for storing games. It is just deep enough for any games and you can adjust the height of the shelves.

I store all my loose handheld cartridges in these trading card holders. They work surprisingly well. Ignore the Cheetah Girls cartridge. I got that for free, haha.

My controllers are mostly stored in the drawers of my desk with the exception of my Wii and 360 controllers which I have in my family room alongside the consoles.

And this is just basically where all the games I don't have room for are. They are all stored in my closet until I buy another shelf which I have been super lazy about. :P

If you want any other specific pictures, feel free to ask.

The white color looks really nice. I think the 3DS suffers from its glossy finish.

Need help picking out a new tv. My 50" Sony SXRD finally got the green tint that has plagued people with them for years (but hey, I dot a good 4 years of excellent use out of it).

So the question is, what is a great 50 to 55" TV for around $1500 +/- $300??

My friend recently had a problem w/ his sony and the green tint issue. Did you check w/ Sony to see if they'll offer you a deal on a new tv? They gave my friend a good deal on a new tv, but i forget the exact details.

I still need to call, first I will have to dig up the paper work and receipt I guess.

Always so fucking jealous when people show off huge collections of old gen games and consoles.

Awesome DEP t-shirt WoodenLung.

Thanks! Also the photo hanging above me from one of my best concert experiences ever, can see myself in the crowd so I am a dick enough to have myself hanging right there over my desktop.

Nice setup! Looking good. Question, can you sit in front of the tv?

Thanks, directly in the middle? no, I previously had the couch in the middle, but my significant other did not approve . Since were apparently getting two separate sofa seats opposite side of the sofa
What stand is that? It looks like a BDI not sure though

Correct, BDI Avion =) . although it's the older one with the 8540 mounts. Which you cannot use anymore on the newer Avions. Maybe that's why it was throwing you off .

Yeah, I have to admit, I kind of want a DSi XL. It's a beautiful device and, despite the very low DPI, I appreciate the larger screens. Should look great for 2D games, at least.

The 3DS is just ugly all around, I think, and has too many little places where dust and dirt can collect leading to a filthy appearance (and I take a lot of care in keeping things looking pristine).

Against all odds, an hour of sunshine today. Got half of my pics done as I had shot angles yesterday so I could just blast them. Second half is night time shots with artificial lighting, should get them done tonight, although some shots require a bit of setting up.

Posting home pics in a forum on the internet is serious business.
