Gilroy = meh. We wanted to keep him for under a mill this summer but he went to tampa. Bottom pairing D-man, some offense. Could get better.

I don't mind Pahlsson as an addition, but it sounds like the Canucks gave up a "roster player, a pick or picks". Too high and he's going to eat up $2.7M of that $4.5M we've got. And he's another centre.....

Good depth guy, agressive guy on the boards, makes a good first pass and has some offensive instincs, has been rounding out his game this season and has played in the top in the top pairing last season with Philips.

The sens have been 12-0- 1 in their last 13 games with Lee in the lineup.

Lee has always been hated by Ottawa because we took him 9th overall in 2005 when we could have had Kopitar or Marc Staal. He kind of sucked in his first few years here like most young D-men but he's turned it around but he'll never live up to 9th overall draft status.

He's pretty good defensively, physical player and good passer. Nothing special but a solid defenceman who got shit on by the fans.

Only downside is a weak shot and he looks like a freakin' albino.

Honestly I think you just won this trade right now.

I think our GM wanted Gilroy out of college before NYR go him, but so far it seems he hasn't lived up to the billing.

Although players signed out of college usually take a few years to adjust to the NHL, so probably too soon to tell.
