I agree with all you're saying. Managing to make the playoffs now after going on a big win streak would indeed show they've got the skill to make something happen, but I just don't think they're a playoff caliber team, and I don't think they'd stand a chance in a 4-7 games vs. teams like NYR, PHI, PIT, or even BOS despite the last two games against them.
Don't get me wrong though, I'll be thrilled if they're in and cheer them on every step of the way, just like I've been cheering them on all year despite some really bad periods.
